  1. Hey mustie1 great job looks great. Or anyone else that knows? Where do you get those clamps with the rubber around them and what are they call cuz I can't even find them on Amazon or Ebay anybody knows I'd really appreciate the information I know this is an old video but hopefully somebody sees this or musty sees this.

  2. .. Like the winch in the bed idea. I'm not all that familiar with winches, but seems to me that one would want it mounted to some very solid framework, so that it could be anchored well when pulling heavy loads. Is the floor of that upper deck sufficient without adding some kind of frame connector underneath?

  3. Mustie1 what are you going to do with the suspension in the single cab? are you going to buy a new one?  Thank you. I have one T2, 1970, and i want to upgrade it. Thank you! Excellent Bus

  4. SWEET! That sounded really good and I love that it eliminated all the extra exhaust plumbing, I honestly think that single muffler looks great all by itself. Considering the size of Harley jugs the single muffler also should handle the vw engine okay… just a thought, might save you a bunch of work..and I know it's chrome and all but I might like one touch of chrome amongst all the rust but the black WOULD be unobrusive.

  5. How much have you spent on this restoration so far? I have no idea what you're doing. I can change a flat tire and fill my windshield fluid. That's it. But I still find this very interesting!

  6. Another fine update video brother 🙂
Your exhaust sounds great, like your plan for the split pipes, very cool.
The brakes are the last corner of your journey, brining the single cab back to road ready, can't wait for the test drive…
No pellets in New England I'm told, until "warmer" weather of course.
Keep up the great job on your truck, I'm watchin !

  7. I really like the way you prioritize and thought process for solving problems and using what you have on hand. Love the way it's turning out.

  8. Hey i like the harley exhaust, you do come up with some clever ideas :-))

Are you going to just bolt the last 2 sections of the floor down over the engine and battery?, would be nice for access/servicing, just a thought 🙂

Oh hell did that bearing put up a fight, a simple job just became a pain, but you won as allways :-))

  9. Considering that one HD muffler is engineered to flow just enough exhaust for 700ccs you may be choking the exhaust down a bit using a single…Twins will flow well enough up to 1400 ccs…
