True words, gangs will ruin your life
I am a nobody who has never been to prison (and will never likely go). I have been watching a few of your videos after I watched a film called shot caller. I get the impression though that once you get to prison you are forced to fight by head of your race or to fend off people who test you. Don't you get forced into losing your chances? Don't you become a product of the environment? You still have to fight even if you don't join a gang.

What about the kids (or new inmates) who join prison gangs not because they want to do "cool prison shit," but because they are scared and feel they need protection? The problem is as much the system as the people in it.

Dude. You’re one of those “wins” that those of us on “the other side” want to see. We always hear about those we worked with that fail. We only hear about the negative. Some give up. Become a “clock in clock out” type. It’s not that we don’t care. It’s just that all we hear about are new charges, Parole/probation violations, revocations, and of course deaths.
I’ve had to change my own thinking too. And for those I’ve trained and mentored I’ve had to ask them to keep a list of everyone they’ve worked with. And periodically go through that list. Focus on those names you’ve never seen again. Those are the wins. Let them motivate you.
This channel is a motivator for those of us who worked with guys and gals like you. On the serious note, we don’t want you to fuck up. We cry when you die. We know you and your parents. We go to your funerals. We want you to be on that list of names that we forgot about.
