  1. When I was in AIT (Army schooling after Basic) I’d cut hair for people that’d ask because being in Basic/AIT is a lot like being in prison everyone was a big shot, everyone has a hustle and every one of us were basically institutionalized lol except for the fact we weren’t able to keep food in our barracks lockers (some people did of course and their hustle was selling candies) some other hustles is Basic we’re selling nicotine patches, art, and loan sharking believe it or not. In AIT it was haircuts, artwork, liquor, pain killers, and certain types of electronics. I learned to cut hair pretty decent so that’s what I’d do at 10 a pop.

  2. My hustle while I was in NDOC was building model airplanes out of paper and state toothpaste. They were pretty popular in there, most guys were sending them home to their kids. But I made enough doing this that even though I couldn't afford my own TV, I rented one every other week and always had ramen noodles.

  3. I worked for an electric company when I was right out of high school. There was a dairy plant right next to a regional jail. One of the guys I worked with got locked up there for like 3 years. He got out on work release to work with us at the electric company at that dairy plant. The State would only let the company pay him 10 dollars an hour(nothing for a certified electrician) but he was a baller at the jail on that 10 dollar an hour job lol

  4. Imagine…. You were to actually master all of these hustles and actually make yourself a living inside of prison getting the take on all those different kinds of cake…. You'd become the C.E.O. that's constantly controlled by C.O.s….lmfao

  5. Withdrawls is the ultimate true definition of hell… heaven and hell is real and that's being healthy or paying hells fee for no longer being wealthy enough to have the stuff that keeps you healthy…

  8. In Nevada, if you have a paying prison job, they can and will charge you room and board of like $5-$10/month. So basically that $15-20/month you make, even up being like $5-$10/month. Crazy huh?!
And yes being an Artist in prison is a very good hussel.
