  1. This video has two things going on in it. There was a major jail raid yesterday by the FED which is crazy. SO with that I wanted to tell you some pretty crazy stuff in relation to shakedowns. And also there is an update on Dave as well! I hope today has been awesome for you! And thanks for rocking with AfterPrisonShow!

  2. Yo Joe!! This wasn't in St. Louis. This happened in Kansas City. The Jackson County Jail is in downtown Kansas City. I live about 10 mins from this particular jail.

  3. It's rainin hard out here… in the army in rhu that was our code on the walkies 1 time a drill sgt heard that n hes like wtf its a sunny day out here what's that mean… the walkies were gone that same day after a guy in my bay raped a girl…

  4. when a male inmate gets into a cel with a female inmate and rapes her, something is realy wrong time to replace the whole staff , fire them all from the job!, time for a new prison boss.

  5. Bro how did you get a job??? I'm struggling to get a job. I've been to prison at rikers island in nyc for 6 years. I was charged with assault and possession of weed with intent to sell. I'm almost 30 and never been employed in my life.

  6. This vid went up on my bday last year. I only turned 16 but I was making very bad desicions and doing drugs, stealing Alla that. I started watching aps about a month ago. I was still messing up and doing bad shit until I watched my first aps vid about ramen and I learned alot from Joe and Dave and have since cleaned my life up. I wanna thank all of you at after prison show. Enjoy life, the free world, never take a moment for granted, and make the most of every day.

  7. I think these kinds of raids should be done on a regular basis.  might help to keep the correctional officers working at these prisons a little more honest and decent.

  8. Jail will charge you a bill to check your own blood sugar with your own meter. They don’t give a shit either. I never did anything bad. But I had a check bounce accidentally. I swear. And I didn’t notice it before the hospital I wrote the check to just so I could be seen bc I’m a type one diabetic and I had the flu, tried pressing charges. Even though my insurance back dated and paid. I still had to give them 300+ bucks to get it off my record. and while in jail for a $80 check I was there for 8 hours. They never let me check my sugar until I was on the floor crying bc I thought I was going to die in there. I wasn’t given anything at all to eat the whole day. Just a cup for water. I felt my sugar crashing and finally after begging for four hours they brought me my shit to check it and finally crackers. Which was barely enough. Then had the nerve to bill me $75. It was disgusting of them

  9. I was thinkin on this subject recently and realized there's a weird way that Florida jails and prisons function that's different from others I've been in or known people to be in.

Back home in NY, shakedowns happened pretty regular in the jails and prisons.

In Memphis they happened pretty regular in the jails and prisons, about the same as NY.

But in Florida there were almost never any in the jails unless there was an incident (especially if it involved staff or a body) and the jail I was in down here at the start of by last run was almost never locked down, I think I only saw 1 or 2 shakedowns the whole time I was there and contraband was EVERYWHERE but nobody seemed to care. The inmates didn't flaunt it and the CO's pretty much let it go as long as they didn't see it.

Rikers was similar the times I was there. But it was because that joint was mad outta control and the staff is corrupt as fuck. They know exactly what's goin on and only care when one of their own gets poked it beat. People get fucked up in there on the daily. Raped, beaten by staff and inmates, extorted, robbed, the works. And instead of tryin to stop it, CO's will egg it on and have had a long history of usin whatever the dominant gang or clique is to control the units and basically let em run wild. But when I was a YO up in the Bing we rarely had any kinda shakedowns. We were just left to rot. Then when they'd come to get ya out it was almost always a fight. That place turned me into something I didn't even recognize.

But the Florida prisons have pretty frequent shakedowns from my experience. Really just depends on what compound you're at at any given time and what's recently gone down. Just thought the way that jail worked was odd. It wasn't necessarily bad, I liked it compared to other jails, just mad different.

  10. Sitting in a parking lot right now getting ready to head into the courthouse for jury duty, if anyone reminds me of you guys I’m holding out, lol

  11. I used to volunteer in a rehab hospital almost three years ago. I remember seeing several inmates coming by to get treated. It would be crazy just to see how they would. Always have to be handcuffed to their beds; or seeing the guards constantly never leave their side. That would be just crazy to me.
