It's crazy to think that as overcrowded prisons are that they are closing them. There is one in my home town that is barely 20 years old now it's closed down

That is a crazy feeling. Reception/classification compounds are the absolute worst in my opinion. Too much of everything negative, too little of anything positive and too crazy a mix of people and the staff is almost always fuckin awful. The last one I went through is only a 15-20 minute drive from where I'm sitting now. That was one of the most violent places I ever been in my whole life. I hate driving past it and seeing those 3 fences that are so thick ya can barely make out the buildings. Gives me flashbacks to that ol Bluebird ride in and the time I spent hoping for that Bluebird ride out. Miserable place. And yeah, no AC at this one either. In FLORIDA!
Hey you want a real hoot? Get out of the vehicle your in outside the prison and start running away as if you just escaped and trying to get to freedom. Have your friends fire a few shotgun blasts into the air behind you to give "your escape" so realistic effect. Get to a car, get in and drive away and NEVER look back.

Alcatraz used be a prison that was damn near impossible for prisoners to escape from because it was on a island and the point of building a prison on a island was to make it impossible for prisoners to escape
