7. Regarding the comments on why this man was not charged with rape… (I am not an expert in law at all, so keep in mind the talking out of my ass starts here):

   Someone needs to make this accusation whether it be the victims themselves or the law on behalf of the victim (statutory rape, for example). Since blackmail is a large component of this incident and there was no physical force involved, it's likely the victims largely would have wanted to avoid exposure. This is why, if you read reports on the indictment, they threw the book at him. He eventually pleaded guilty to 1 count of wire fraud and got **10 years**. There is certainly something up here. It seems that, in the eyes of the law, he is a sexual predator and they did their darnedest to get something to stick.

   "Throwing the book" is a legal term, btw. I know this because I had to face a judge once for… something… and he said, "You're getting off light, you understand?! If I ever see you here again I'm throwing the book at you!"
