I know a Dave update is long overdue. But he hasn’t been forgotten! Dave is a good friend of mine from prison who got locked up again. He is a good person who has made mistakes and he is a big part of AfterPrisonShow. Throughout the time he’s been away, APS got Dave a lawyer. And I as well as others who support Dave have made sure he’s been good on the inside with plenty of commissary.

  16. PORTSMOUTH, Va. – An inmate died Friday after being found unresponsive at the Hampton Roads Regional Jail.

    Jonathan D. Ellis
    Jail personnel and Portsmouth Emergency Services performed lifesaving attempts on 25-year-old Jonathan D. Ellis, however, these efforts were unsuccessful.

    The jail has notified the Portsmouth Police Department and will conduct a full internal review before contacting the Virginia Department of Corrections.

    The cause of the inmate’s death has not been released at this time.

    There is no further information.

  23. For you people that don't know, Muslims and some other religions get special trays(foods) .
    It has something to do with the foods they can and can't eat due to religious reasons.

  29. Man that's beautiful having a friend put money on books and phone I was locked up during Christmas and it sucks bad having money on the books makes it so at least you don't wanna have tears running down as you try looking hard while you walk the pigeon track

  35. At least you have to stockings hung. I have been alone now a very long time and I am not an old woman. I am a disabled woman but it doesn't stop me from loving life and having fun. I'm quite isolated in my apartment community where nobody speaks and I don't have the ability to get out and meet people. Oh well.

  36. Dude I don't even know Dave but the video of you turning him in almost made me cry dude seemed so happy and full of energy at the end kinda bs that things didn't go right for him in court
