I feel your pain. It's a bewildering feeling to have to plea guilty when you are innocent. Something similar happened to me.
Not going to go into detail for reasons you will understand after reading. I was hit with a few charges, all of which I was innocent of and was facing up to 2 years in prison. I had 3 witnesses and passed a polygraph but but my accuser was a cop so all my evidence didn't mean squat. My lawyer convinced me to plea guilty to a lesser charge which came with no jail time but a slew of fines.
I wanted payback but knew doing something illegal would come back to bite me big time so SWIM hired a private investigator to look into the officer. Turns out she (yes female officer) was cheating on her husband. Somehow pictures showing this ended up in the hands of her husband.
I knew a few officers who worked in a neighboring precinct through my job and heard from them about a year later that she was divorced. I don't know if those pictures played a role but the thought brings a smile to my face.
never heard of a junkie calling the cops for getting his dope stolen. and the cops actually making a arrest.

If you would have told the judge what had really happened you may have been released the first time you saw him. Judges and lawyers are not stupid they usely know when your telling them the truth.

I have never seen someone call the police after getting ripped off for drugs and have much of anything happen except they themselves get arrested.
I hear a lot of stories about inmates who have had their commissary items stolen. They should start putting combination locks on the lockers.
That happens a lot more than you think!!!!!! Your not alone.
You should look into going to the middle schools and high schools and telling some of your stories to the kid's maybe it would help them out

I think alot of innocent ppl are serving time bc they'd rather take pleas than chance having a public defender who isn't going to go out of their way to defend them. For that you need money for a lawyer who will go to any lengths & follow any lead to prove your innocence.

Alot to do with public defenders and them having way to many cases and not making bond those two things extremely screw you make bond get a good lawyer your alot alot alot better off especially if you truly have a good lawyer on your side why i got out town lawyer ive researched… if i could afford it. And make bond seems like if you make bond less chance to do time

Yeah believe it or not ive done a few of the bids ive done completly innocent and a bid for something that was just a simple argumebt that some how turned into me trying to stab my old lady complete bullshit imagine doing a bid for an argument cause the neighbor called the cops and the ole lady was mad and lied to the cops and of course they bought it

At first I thought Joe was going to be another tough guy prison Youtuber. I stayed bc of how Joe admits when he got beat up, and now how he admits to drugs. That takes being real and not just another supposed tough guy.
