13. Back in the day everything wasn't in clear containers. I used to slice open the end of empty tubes of toothpaste with a razor blade at the seam, clean them out, hide my tattoo gun and stinger in them, then melt the seam back together and put it back in the box and glue the box closed. I had about 10 tubes and the rest were full of toothpaste. The guards used to search me everyday for months because people were snitching, but the guards never found anything. This is why now they only sell clear containers of toothpaste, deodorant, televisions, radios, etcetera.

Whenever a young cute female guard was patting us down on the way to the yard, me and my crew would line up for the pat down and when we got done getting patted down, we would go back and get in line again. After patting us all down two or three times, the guard would usually be smiling and tell us to go on to the rec yard.
