  1. Congratulations to Shannon! I really like seeing Shannon on the videos, and I feel like I can really relate to her strongly.

I've been rocking with APS for a while, and have gone back and watched many of your past videos–but not all of them yet.

It's great to see a bisexual woman on APS, and the reason I say that is this. I am a transgender woman who is also bisexual, who has also struggled with addiction and homelessness at times in my life.

I find I can really relate to Joe, Dave, Danny, and a lot of the other straight men on APS, and what they have been through. That said, it is really a positive asset to have diversity in the APS crew. To have a woman join the crew who is also part of the LGBTQ+ community, it brings a different perspective and more wisdom.

I know this video isn't really about that–it's about Shannon's job.

I also gotta say it breaks my heart to hear Shannon talk with incredulity about her success. I don't know what it feels like to have the "red mark" of prison on your record in applying for jobs, but I have to say, Shannon has a very positive and kind attitude, and it's no surprise to me that someone found her personable and hire-able. I hope this can be a boost to Shannon's confidence and that she can continue to believe in herself.

  2. Being a female, just did 5yrs and 10 on the Mary trippy law….I've been an 85 percenter. .than I was an income health care worker, than there was the Santa Rose fire, ,,I lost my job,my home, and all my belongings. Then my status went back to being worthless, I had no tickets,no trouble before,no trouble after, but Im scrued. Now. Any concern?

  3. Don't worry about them finding out about the prison jobs..it shows that you did the most you could with the situation you were in. That you were dependable enough to have a job in that bad situation and says positive things about your character.

  4. I saw the recent video..Shannon you are defo going forward. Keep the smile on!! I hope APS will show us more about you and your future. Best of luck girl. Saludos from Ireland

  5. Dude go to an upscale Thai restaurant, they hired me on the spot as a bartender and I literally didn't fill out a single thing…decent money too about 750 a week if you work hard…

  6. So happy for you Shannon! Keep it up. Don’t ever pick up the drugs again and you will be amazed at how your life starts to come together. You should be very proud of yourself right now.

  7. Wow Dave why don't you act like this all the time be yourself this is the first time I've ever watched and seeing you being yourself I have quit watching APS shows that you are on the only reason why I watch this one it's cuz I wanted to see how Shannon was doing and boy I'm glad I watched it Dave you just amaze me this is the first time I've seen you just be yourself instead of acting like a black person or this or that or I can't or haven't been able to figure out what you're acting like the whole time it was great to see Dave finally not act and be himself amazing day and Shannon you're like a shining star beautiful beautiful amazing it's it says in the Bible and in the AA that the promises of God's program is a mental physical and psychic change and Shannon you are the true definition of that I'm from California I'm over sixty I only got five gray hairs in my head Joe you would love to see my beautiful brown blonde hair head over 60 but I was raised in foster homes and the statistics of people going to prison or even living beyond 45 is amazing and here I sit living in my camper van at the beach and after 25 years I relapsed on heroin and I'm out here fighting the good battle again and you guys are helping me do that one day at a time but by the grace of God I love you all happy days Dennis
