I don't even understand how snitching could even be tolerated……Man, back in the day when I did my time the WORST thing you could be was a snitch – you would literally be taken down by shank for being a snitch…. You wouldn't be rewarded for it… No one would like you or trust you (obviously) if you were a snitch……. This whole "snitch" issue blows my mind…. I mean when I was in the joint the worst and most dangerous thing for you would be to have other inmates label you as a "snitch"…. That's a good way to get offed ….
So yea, I don't get this whole "snitch" thing…..
Look, it's absolutely possible to go to prison and remain a good person… You don't have to snitch…..I mean the only time to speak up is if you see an actual injustice happening – I mean if you see a dude being abused – not punked – but abused as in the Rap3 word abused then you do speak up – and besides that will NEVER happen because in prison there is a code – and you don't do that – that is unusual behavior …..
But snitching over cheese blows my mind away….. Man, the dudes in the kitchen are always dope … Generally they were honest folk and they would payoff their gambling debts or debts in general with an extra hot dog or an extra burger or whatever you wanted… I know it sounds crazy when I say "honest" but… Look, working in the kitchen is a sweet job to have – and a lot of these dudes know this – so they're not going to "rock the boat" as they say…. And "snitches" just make life in prison more difficult – they "rock the boar" and that's why they weren't tolerated – at least when I was in prison 20 years ago…
IF something had nothing to do with you then you SAW NOTHING …. I mean if you mind your own business you will survive – but rewarding those that don't subscribe to the politics with TV's for breaking these politics, while they watch whatever on their TV? blows my mind because that person that did that would have is TV taken from him so quick, and guess what? absolutely no one would care… Now what the person would do with this TV is difficult to say because you're in prison and it's hard to steal physical objects from others, but I suppose depending on the guards ?, lol….. In speaking of the guards – they're just as corrupt as the prisoners if not more…. No they're not all bad but they run by their own code too… But the guards/CO's are a different topic …
But stealing cheese? few smart inmates in my time would have said a damn thing about that… If you exposed a "cheese smuggling ring" from the kitchen you would be in massive trouble among your peers AKA other inmates …. Dude would be in PC in 2 seconds…..
Besides what do these snitches have? their own cliques? their clika's?….. As in: there go the snitches – stay away from those dudes because they will tell on you and jack you up because you're working your hustle or doing your thing???

You should go in to methadone maintenance. You're getting old, I assume you've tried getting clean I'm clean 7 years now, haven't even drank a beer. You don't get tired on it as long as you activate yourself. I work out six times a week and live a normal life, apartment and job.
