Remy Is Struggling With Addiction

We went to see Remy prepared to get a follow up since the test video. But we we’re completely unaware until getting to him, just how bad he is struggling to stay clean. I ask everyone to please offer this man some kind words and encouragement to help him stay the course. Thank you.

  1. I respect this man for wanting to change. For wanting to ask for help. Today he asked us for help. And I hope we are able to help him. APS is about helping people when we can. And I ask all of you to offer this man some encouragement to keep fighting to stay clean. Thank you.

  2. My prayers go out to Remy. I’m an addict who struggled for a long time, more then half my life. I’m in recovery ow and it still isn’t always easy but it is do able 💙🙏🏻

  3. Remi is an addict. Doesn't mean hes a bad guy. Fear is running his life right now. Fear of failure, not having work, picking back up. Addicts fear responsibility. He needs to work on himself not the area or job hes looking for to change his life. Gelico sounds like he can definitely help him starting the foundation of his recovery. He doesn't find out why he keeps getting high no job or house is gonna save him. Recovery is a inside job .. good luck and love the channel Joe.

  4. I reall feel for you Remy i know u dont know me but if your ever feel alone hit me up on Twitter @jasonyoungoh i was a herion addict for 4 yrs been on methadone for 4 more yrs still on it subs were not strong enough for me i get 120mg of methadone a day so i know what its like & i can help & it will help me too

  5. Really like this guy i hope he makes it its hard i know been through the same shit shot herion for 4 yrs been on methadone for 4 yrs just to stay clean

  6. Joe should show Remy next time he talks about the negative comments on the videos how many people liked the videos vs disliked. And explain most people only comment when they have something negative/toxic to say so it seems like it's more people than it actually is. Like at the time of this comment theirs 179 dislikes, but 3,000+ likes. Fuck the small numbers of idiots. Look at the big numbers of support. Edit: Healthy people who drink mostly water, like myself. WILL MOST LIKELY HAVE CLEAR URINE. 100% Believe Remy.👌👌

  7. I’m a Addict myself.. can b told til u blue in the face..u gotta wanna be done with it, they also say, gotta work it for it 2 work.. u a good guy jel, good advice, past users always give best advice, in Aus I take all sorts atm putting lean in 3ml barrel into my femoral.. good luck rem..

  8. Suboxone is no joke 3 weeks worth withdrawl I could just imagine. When I was going through it I couldn't sleep no appetite, very depressed for about a full month, that shit sucked.

  9. Remy might as well be talking about my life!!! I'm in a VERY similar situation …. So similar it's strange !!!
Moving won't help because no matter where you go you take your own head with you!!!! Plus if Remy is like ME he could score drugs on the surface of the moon!!! I wish him nothing but good luck for the futures……. I'm using now as I watch this……💔💔💔

  10. The 2nd guy was bang on!! Getting clean is very hard .. BUT that's the easy part!!! I have done it a dozen times.. Staying clean is the problem!!!
He almost slipped up & named the meetings … He just stopped himself but I KNOW what he was gonna say!!
Jelico almost said "I go to AA meetings because there's a lot of relapsing in the NA meetings"
And I agree with him 100% as its exactly the same here in the UK

  11. Remy you are a good person with a good heart,I am in recovery, going on 16 months sober after a 25 year heroin addiction, the last 2 years it was 10-15 grams a day. You can do it,just don't give up,relapse is just a bump, we've all had many of them. Just don't give up,you can beat this disease. Relapse doesn't mean failure,no matter how many times you get knocked down just keep getting up, eventually you will win the fight,I know you will.

  12. Joe, I know this video is over a year old now and want others out in the viewing audience to know Remy was experiencing true feelings ALL recovering addict's go thru! And i mean ALL! How is Reme doing now that it's a year later. I would like to see if he is doing well(i hope he is doing well).
Joe,what you are doing out there in the community is absolutely amazing! Hold your head high! You deserve it and i have tremendous respect for you and all your doing on APS. I don't make a lot of money but next weeks check I am sending a donation to your cause.
Keep up the great work Joe, you are making a difference out there I'm sure of that!
