Over heating issue in a BMW? The head gasket should've been the first thing checked to be honest although I would recommend replacing the whole coolant system at that point anyways. The factory ones are absolute garbage, I don't understand why bmw continues to use cheap plastic parts for one of the most important systems in your car. With what you pay already an extra couple hundred dollars on the purchase price wouldn't even be noticed.

You really thought air bubbles, dissolved gases and or unnoticeable leaks caused the problem ? Akways6 check for specific evidennce of the problem… Eg test the fluid in each pipe ,at each spot possible, to find where its blocked or just not flowing …(bypasssd ? )
