Be Careful What You Order From Facebook Ads

We’ve all seen Facebook ads for items and prices that seem too good to be true. I thought I’d place an order for a Mandalorian helmet I saw on Facebook. Spoiler: it’s not exactly as advertised.

  1. There are too many of these ads about. They are now chocking up Pinterest with the fake replica products and crappy cheap clothing from companies you've never heard of before.
IF IT LOOKS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT IS.

  2. Facebook is responsible for this by allowing adds. We should file a class action lawsuit against Facebook for allowing the adds that are ripping everyone off.

  3. I've only shopped on Facebook once. It was for a set of Bluetooth Over the ears Headphone. I ended up with Earbuds that fit behind the ears that sound like those cheap Planet Fit Headphones. I wish I could put the photos in the comments

  4. Since when does China care to honor trademarks? You got scammed. Onl6 idiots buy from facebook through sellers in china without using some third party, such as eBay, Paypal or Amazon to guarantee you a refund.

  5. I ordered a jacket which the advert showed to be velvet and heavily embroidered. It was very very cheap I should’ve known when I got it. It was now on overall material with a print of the jacket on the top. It was so cheap I didn’t even take it to the charity shop.

  6. My friend also in this sht as he's selling a high spec laptop but when delivered it's a cheap 20' window without graphic card.
Since i know him i just went to his family and get a refund ofc he got beat by his father.

  7. Anyone with a brain would know that those “companies” advertising on Facebook are a scam, click on the page, 28 likes/followers… absolutely not getting my money 😂

  8. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM A FACEBOOK AD!!!! They are all scams. I made that mistake once. I purchased a pair of Lariat work boots and when the package arrived, it was a cheap "silk" scarf from china.

  9. I once ordered a social distance with my cat back during the height of Covid. And it took nearly 2 months to recieve. At least it fit and wasn't cheaply made.

  10. An elder friend of mine ordered a motorized scooter for $60 on a Facebook ad. It was a company based out of China.
I shit you not, they sent him a tiny box with "Fancy looking" silverware that was cheaply made. When he showed me I couldn't stop laughing 😂… He was like, "I got scammed didn't I" ?… I said "you sure did". He was like, "Those MFers"!! 😅

  11. There's already a report on leaked emails within FAKEbook that state that as long as they're getting paid for the ads they are to allow scam ads on the site. But when we report Scammers and their ads too often Facebook threatens to ban us instead of the Scammers. No doubt they have people on the inside protecting them. It's getting just as bad on YouTube with the endless "Sponsored" ads that are Scams, but when Alphabet is making 5 billion in ad revenue they could care less

  12. This is the type of video that doesnt need to exist. You bought it from China and question why this or why that…there is no answer to the mass schemes. I stay away from purchasing from China for that reason.
I get your trying to inform…but we are all way ahead on this one.

  13. My mother-in-law fell for this a few times. Then one day she told me "you know, the stuff they sell on Facebook is different than it looks in the picture!"

  14. In most of the world this would be classified as fraud: 1. Make a misrepresentation (it's a helmet), 2. the customer believes it and spends money, 3. The customer receives a rubber mask (suffers a financial loss which would not have been made if not for the misrepresentation).
