  1. OnePlus' mission to be the 2nd Samsung pretty much sealed their fate when it comes to shifting me away from Pixel phones.
First they copied their curved edge displays…now their UI. Goodbye Chinese Samsung.

  2. I have questions , after I update my OnePlus 8 pro to android 11 the message application ( default one ) didn't working and in google play says ( this app isn't compatible with the phone ) .. weird

  3. I'm glad they are beautifying the UI. Unless it's compromising the perf I don't see an issue.
Stock Android looks super boring and super dull. And that's no secret.

  4. Oxygen OS needs to catch up to One UI 2.0 in terms of both functionality, and aesthetics. However IOS has a long way to go to catch to both these OS’s.

  5. Don't get mad op fans,im a huge fan too but, i really like new font and features that oneplus add to oxygen 11. I've tested beta 2 for a week and two thing i liked is font design and insight clock. But i really hate this background and it's colours. It will change the phone to rubbish with any phone colour. They don't design wallpapers for better reading the the status bar or matching the phone colour.

  6. Much prefer OneUi from samsung and it's nice, for me at least, that my oneplus 7 pro will turn into a Samsung 7 pro soon. Now all oneplus has to do is bring DEX. i am not joking. As a side remark : All change is rejected always by enthusiasts, then within 2 weeks accepted and praised, plus mr and mrs normalconsumer won't even notice.

  7. Oh no. I was gonna switch from Samsung to a OnePlus phone to get a UI as close to the stock Android. Can't we opt for the older OxygenOS?

  8. i have used samsung , its not exactly like samsung , please do a comparison with samsung OS . I think this is making One Plus something unique, now as a iphone user all i care about is system hardware optimization , how much heat can it handle, and how easily and fluently i can do my work on the phone. One plus has a really good reputation for amazing performance, i hope Oxygen OS11 will not downgrade the performace, which is a important factor. Looks are always decieving🤷🏻‍♂️

  9. I don't get the point of oneplus anymore. Their phones cost as much as Samsung or apple n have worse camera , ok battery , ok display , copied ui.

Why would anyone want to buy this n then even out for chinese phone.

  10. The UI looks very familiar to me. I think they just dumped the original OxygenOS and rebranded H2OS as OxygenOS 11.
H2OS (HydrogenOS) is the default OS on OnePlus phones sold in China.
If you don't believe me, take a look at the screenshots from H2OS official website https://www.h2os.com/
