  1. This is the worst phone I've ever had the battery life sucks and I swear every time I touch the screen to scroll it clicks on some random thing peace oh trash returning it ASAP

  6. Mine is almost unusable because of the crappy battery. I cannot get through a 3 hour bike ride without this phone dying. Yes, I do use gps and bluetooth on my rides but my Galaxy S8 active at 4 years old has WAY better battery life so I still use it on bike rides because it will last up to 6 hours with the same apps running. . Even when I'm not riding, I can't get through the day without a recharge in 2020.

  7. The pixel 4 is almost the perfect phone. I'd prefer a 5.6" oneplus but the pixel 4 is close enough to my needs. I really like the face unlock and the radar would be really useful at least for me for changing the music on my speaker while riding a bike. Rn I do have the pixel 2xl and have to unlock my phone go to spotify and manually skip in the middle of Manhattan- not ideal. Also when the phone is mounted on the bike rear fingerprint scanner is useless. I'd much rather have an updated pixel 4 w better battery than the pixel 5 but seems like the pixel 5 is my only choice. WHY DO THEY HAVE TO MAKE THE PHONE BIGGER EVERY YEAR!! Bigger is not always better

  8. Ok, who HONESTLY uses motion sense on a regular basis? Regardless of it working or not? Reviewers KEEP bringing it up just because it was something heavily advertised by Google, sure, but I feel like the only reason by people were excited about the soli sensor was mainly for Face Id.

  9. I don't know which pixel you guys got. (Defective) but mine always has made it thru the day..sometimes with just 20 percent left but like yesterday..I used all day..at work.and went out until 11pm taking astrophotography..and I had 50 percent when I got home at midnight. Didn't charge it until today. So idk what your problems with batteries..quit watching porn it has viruses. Moron.

    I just wanna say I love my phone, battery lasts all day (now) it didn't used to when I first bought it months back, it's like the updates have made the phone better over time, everything is smooth like day one of purchase, I just learned that there's going to be a new big update for the camera app and I'm so excited because the camera is already pretty amazing.

  17. I traded in my Pixel 4 for the S20 when it came out.. pretty much because Tmobile had a $500 trade in special for the Pixel which was only 100 less than I paid. I didn't expect to miss the fantastic face unlock, call screening, small form factor, stock android and the almost impossibility of taking a bad photo……. but I did pretty quick. Only thing I did gain was some better battery life but it wasn't night and day. Anyway.. 4+ months later now I ended up buying one on Amazon.. renewed for $400 and now looking forward to shoving my sim back in.

  19. Until one of the many tech companies actually sends me a review sample of anything I’m not watching tech reviews. So while I do apologize to all of the tech reviewers I’m subscribed to for not giving your videos a thumbs up I’m just so tired of having phone after phone rubbed in my face. It just feels like a lot of the tech reviewers are just saying “Look at what I got that the only way you’ll get is after it gets released you’ll have to pay for it.” And I’d be paying full price. I mean if I were offered a cheaper price I’d consider getting one, but as far as all tech companies are concerned at this point my channel isn’t worth diddly squat.

  20. All I seem to get from any reviewer is that this phone is definitely not worth the upgrade. I'm currently on a OnePlus 6 so can any non-reviewer tell me if it's worth the upgrade?

  25. Pixel 4 battery life is so bad they put me off Pixel brand. But it wasn't the only thing, just the worst by far.

    Face lock was always a bad idea, not going that route again. It's slow and terribly inconvenient. Fails to work under so many circumstances.

    I'm just hanging onto this phone until I can rationalize throwing it out. It really is a shit product.

  27. I love motion sense/soli. I use mine consistently when I'm listening to music on my 4xl. About the only time I don't is when I'm in my car and I use the steering wheel controls 🤷🏾‍♂️

  31. I've been using the 4xl for about 3mos. My favorite feature is the user experience. It's very hard to put down. Plus the best point & shoot 📷 in the business. I got 300 off, now it's worth the 💰!

  33. Only YouTube reviewers think the pixel is too bad to use, everyone else is quite happy. Do not ever base your purchasing decisions on YouTube reviewers

  35. Am still confused on wether to but p4xl or or p5xl with all the negative battery reviews got of the p4 line and I own all the other pixels except the 3 cause day notch was a pass and the a series feel cheap

  40. I love my pixel 4 xl. Switched from the note 10+ and havent gone back. Imo, its the best looking phone, love the black borders with the white matte glass look. Also, battery life is on par with the note in my personal experience.

  41. So might no be possible, I would love to see a brand new release day software pixel 4 vs latest updated pixel 4 battery test let’s see if any software updates makes a difference. I have a release day pixel 4 and to be honest the battery life is exactly the same , my usage my battery still dies around 4/5pm , not heavy user 90hz refresh rate on, soli on dark mode on . I usually have to give a 30 min charge to last me till 11pm however exactly the same use iPhone 11 Pro which I bought for the wife but I used for a month I would be on 45/55% at 5pm and would easily last me till 11pm so the battery life is bad

  42. In one image, you have 76% of battery with 1:22 hours of screen on… extrapolate this for the whole usage and you'd get around 5:30 hours on a single charge. Since I'm wagering you have all the juicy stuff enabled, that's not at all bad. For a phone that's supposed to be small (by today's standard anyway), that's not terrible at all. Seems pretty reasonable to me and means it should last you a single day, easily.
    PS: I'm looking into a smaller phone (again, by today's standards) and this seems to be the winner currently. People ripping it for its batter compare it to phones that are very big and hence, have a much bigger battery inside of them.
