  1. Both the new hardware, and software versions should have a 2 year cycle. These yearly changes just rushes everything th smartphone industry and delivers half baked products with constant increase in price and no real benefits for customers.

  2. im bored of android, even also from the custom roms, I wish there were many more smartphones with operating systems like Windows 10 ARM or Linux

  3. Can the video BE more obvious?

I mean literally anything that starts from scratch will have huge modifications in first few versions/updates. And once it starts getting close to perfection the changes will be minute and nuanced. Until the landscape changes again. So let something dramatic happen in smartphone industry and Android will start shipping major updates.

  4. I think Google should offer a global android update with minimum requirements listed for ram etc so….when the phone manufacturers don't bother giving us updates etc we can just bypass their bs and get raw android from Google

  5. I wish google would try their hand again at making android run better on tablets. Android is finally getting close to being mature; they need to give it a second chance, and entice a few more OEM’s to try making android tablets again. I’d love to see google give ipads at least a little bit of competition.

  6. Its not only the software, all the phones looked really unique back then, you would get a s4 for what it does, i mean this day a midrange samsung may not have all the bells and whistled it really looks similar to their flagships, its really bland nowadays, we miss this personalition instead of effience

  7. This is coming from a current iPhone owner and past Android owner — To be honest, both OS’s have matured enough where recent software updates aren’t really bringing any massive changes. I really miss the early days of Android (like going from Gingerbread to Ice Cream Sandwich and iOS (going from iOS 3 to 4). Those were the fun days of both OS’s IMO

  8. I got android on my phone. an inexpensive tablet, and as a radio in one of my vehicles. i dont care what android version im because i havent any headaches since maybe the nexus 2013 era of phones. every i android device got since the galaxy s6 has done what it was supposed to do and outside of fragility of the Galaxy S phones, the ZTE Zmax was the only phone ive had in the last 5 years that gave me problems up to thee point of dying and not turning back on. Before that was the nexus 4 with its overheating and terrible battery even with the expanded battery pack.

The only complaint i have and thats phones in general is when are we gonna get some shatter resistant screens? I use my phone for a lot and cant use the latest and greatest without fear of crackingthe front or back to no return. im using a heavy duty mid ranger right now because of this. Even though the camera is a potato(more so after the drops), The front screen has survived drops to the ground with my weight coming behnd it. I have battery i dont have to worry about. My pretty S8 took one drop and cracked immediately. It still has a great camera but cant use it with a dark mark and flashing lower half of the screen.

  9. We are demanding more accurate and refined Android recents where we can see many recents at a time just like the one in Samsung Goodlock app call Task changer.

  10. All I need my phone to do is be fast at what it does and it is doing that because no matter what feature we get we just gonna use Dem for a few days I miss IR blaster on phones

  11. It seems like, as long as you have at least android 8, you're fine bc Google hasn't made significant OS changes in years
