9:24 960cc is pretty up there as far as sport bikes go. Maybe he's thinking of Liter bikes that start at 1000cc. Once you hit 550-600cc you get into super sport territory. My R3 is a 321cc and it's considered an entry level sport bike.

The kid that blew his rear end and got parts out of a bush is s cool. My story was at Bonneville . Had three gear boxes in the truck. Broke one and damaged the Doug Nash 5 spd. We took one of the gear boxes out. The owners of the truck found an old farm house with trucks around and talked them out of a drive shaft long enough to make up for the missing gear box, while I rode around the salt flats until I was able to find someone who had the parts to fix the 5spd. End of story, reset the land speed record for the class.

Jeep from thumbnail 3:55 is Randy Cain in “The Heap” running outlaw street class at rocky mountain race week 2020 ( rmrw2020 ) currently first in that class averaging 8.6x after 4 out of 5 race days.
Wow! That thing shoulda had hood pins on it… kinda surprised tech didn't at least say something about it…. I mean, c'mon, a Jeep with a stout looking sbc, HUGE turbo, funny car cage, chute and those springy, crummy, and probably half-shot hooks holding the hood shut…. lol that thing is f'in awesome though!! I enjoy seeing the "old school" sbcs around these days too
