Two bad technicians, can cost you a ton of money. You know that. Why do you think $3-4K in LABOR is worth having it done right. Jag Land Rover Service manager said he went thru a few techs that tried to do the tensioner and timing jumped, ruining the motors. They rolled their toolbox out the door looking to work for you.

I bet the air suspension is set to access mode. In my land rover I have my 2017 set to access mode and once placed in park it will automatically lower itself low to allow easy in and out access. If that's the case with yours then once you get it to start up and drive, after 5 mph it will pick up to normal ride height.

Disappointed to see you purchased this because it’s sad to see one of these in such poor shape, especially with the rare options like reclining rear seats and deployable side steps. I hope you’ve been pricing out a used 5.0 because they easily go for double what you paid for this truck. It’ll be interesting to see what you end up doing with the truck but I imagine it ends up getting destroyed or thrown away in a YouTube stunt.
