  1. Man you’re dad did a killer paint job on your blazer for sure!!! I absolutely love it so much!! My 1969 Chevy truck is actually all that color of blue but it is going to get repainted here someday!! I have all new body panels for it also but really the body isn’t in that bad of shape on it other then the rockers, cab corners, & the corners of both doors so I’m going with all new sheet metal on it & will put this body on another truck that I can sell maybe or maybe even do another really cool 2wd lowered truck like I done when I was back in school & wish I still had today because that one was completely rust free & was a pretty cool truck!!!

  2. My old man's mate, the painter, used to keep a huge bucket of wooden skewers next to his scale. If he went over, he would stick a skewer in and drag some tinter out. It kind of stays in a puddle if you pour it straight, so it's easy to steal a bit out. He also told me that, if you get a can of paint mixed, check the lip of the tin. If there are splashes of tinter on it, you're fucked.

  3. Shawn, I have this two tone in a 97' Suburban LS 5.7 4×4 in silver and that color blue. Only an inch for the OEM PIN STRIPE ON MINE.
MAKE SURE YOU MIND THE WINDOW SEALS ON THE WHOLE TRUCK. IN MY EXPERIENCE , ONCE THE ORIGINAL WS IS REMOVED, THE GLASS DOENT SEAL TIGHT.

  4. Those of us that grew up the same way are remembering the good times of getting yelled at, that still happens as well lmao. The old trouble light was another thing that we're scarred from for us that did body work and mechanical. I wish I had a nickel for every time I didn't "hold the damn light right" :').

  5. Loving this series! Man when he shut that door right after pops said don't shut that door I fell the fuck out. Best shit on the Tube right now for car guys! (& gals)

  6. Shawn would you race the hoonicorn ? The hoonigan boys keep racing these cheesedick lame cars to show how fast the hoonicorn is. Everyone would love the see the Nova drag there ass.

  7. I own a 90 Jimmy and love that paint job! Mine was solid dark blue and never really liked 2 tone, but after seeing this I might consider something like this for mine.
Good call on wrapping the line down the front fender👍👍

  8. Man when I was younger and in high school I use to love auto body class but now that I'm older I can't stand it or the body filler smell, dust, and all that I still love painting but using body filler and sanding it and fiberglass resin I'm just not a fan off anymore

  9. Paint job looks great man. Reminds me of when me and my brother painted a 67 Caprice with my Dad, it turned out awesome! Cant beat those older guys for their workmanship! Props to Dads!
