Western Union is no longer allowing me to do business with them. This video is my story.
With cashapp, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, and Bitcoin I’m honestly surprised western Union is still in business.
A Nigerian friend just asked me to pick up money for him via WesternUnion.
I tried western union and my first transfer was 10 aud it was successful after two days, great. then i tried 1000 aud it got declined, no information provided, i called my bank they said they didn't received the request and i need to check with the merchant, so i contacted WU and they told me it cannot be processed due to corporate policy, but would't tell me which policy it was and couldn't explain why my initial transfer succeeded. they keep asking me to go to local agents. i tried smaller amount 100 aud it was successful. my guess is they just want more transfer fee and my first transaction was just a bait. very shady
After I received an email regarding an unsettled transaction and money had been returned by the receiver's bank to Western Union and Western Union refund money to my bank account and transaction between me and Western Union was done. Then I used another option to send refunded money to the receiver and I sent the refunded money from my bank account by direct wire transfer to the same account to the receiver's bank. I don't have any control on the receiver's bank.Then 43 days later Western Union asked for the money back, I received an email from Western Union: "that it was an internal error that caused the transaction to be completed and also being refunded". Based on misinformation by the Western Union, I am sending the second payment to the receiver's bank. It's not my responsibility to recover any money from the receiver's bank if any was mishandled by the Western Union.
Western Union executive resolutions department made a clear decision: "Please be advised that this won't bring any legal implications to you, please be aware that because of this unfortunately you will not be able to use Western Union services until the payment is received ", but the Risk Collections department threatened me "outstanding balance may be sent to a Third Party Collections Agency and your credit score may be affected"
The Company does not solve the problem after filing a complaint with CFPB and email to Global Customer Engagement Director Agne Domarkiene, Executive Resolution Lisa Baker, President of Consumer Money Transfer Khalid Fellahi.
After more than 170 years in business, Western Union is no longer reliable and can't be trusted.
Western union needs to be held accountable for turning a blind eye to scammers.
Most likely your were involved in money laundering due to a scammer, receiving or sending to much money

Western Union sent you something on their free will. Nothing was signed or agreed on about not sharing the information. You have the right to share it if you want to.
Wage they flagged you b/c the original guy you sent money too had been flagged as a scammer.

Technically, you can reveal that email. They can't sue you BECAUSE, the email is yours, and you aren't under a GAG order and you did NOT sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement, so WU can't sue you.

my mum and brother or a friend sometimes send me money like 150€ maximum 500€ and they pay fort his service, but western union blocked me 2 times till i prove them the nature of relationship them and also their source money. so it's really strange that i have to tell the operator she is my mum, he is my brother, omg, or to ask my brother for his bank certifications so i send it to them so they can have a prove that the sourse of the money is a salary. it's humilating.
but the problem that i never ask for money, i only do it when it's really difficult for me and then i need immediatly for money but western union did not care about my situation, i have to wait 3 days to one week to have the money.

WU is horrible. I have a wife and home in the Philippines and they canceled my transitions when I sent funds for the house. Now I use Xoom ad never a problem.
I’ve been van from western union as well. I got scammed and I reported it to WU. They said they opened an investigation. They block my account and asked me to send all personal information including pay stubs. Now I received that same letter saying I am not able to send/receive any money using WU never ever again

That's how it is for Africa. Paypal has banned a lot of countries as well. because an infinitesimal part of the population is scamming, the whole country is banned. Yet the country we all know is boss in the scamming business is not banned. Smh

Don't call them Western Union call them Wastern-Union! Because they are a Waste! This is why I hate using big corporations and hate supporting big corporations even corporations such as Google and PayPal etc.

Same thing happened to me…
The same thing happened to me too, sending remittances to someone overseas in genuine need of ongoing assistance. WU suspended a couple of transfers then allowed them after I answered some questions then they blocked me permanently, without reason and without the ability to appeal their decision. Worse than that, the receiver was in an office that is an agency for WU and was there for another purpose, and she was banned from setting foot in there again. I've since found another company that is not only faster, has lower fees and doesn't treat their customers like they're all criminals. WU have lost a lot of money over this and even more on lost future transactions.
Create a Bitcoin wallet ,fund it and pay them with it, all these Wetsern Union, PayPal, Are crazy and thieves!!!
