For those of you not aware, the engine in my #FairmontProject has a name, #DarkMatterPikachu. Here’s how it got that name.
This is another video in the Engine Series for the #FairmontProject. In this installment we go over the modifications that were made to the intake manifold to help it flow a little better and also still be streetable.
Kevin Frische has years of performance machining as well as teaching experience in the field of engine performance. In short, he knows what he’s doing. If you’re going to tackle something like this, proceed with caution. If you go too far, it will be too late.
I would have loved to have done a video on how Kevin did this work, but he had already completed this work before we arrived to start shooting. At least we got him to talk about what and why he did what he did.
