"Not quite as fully formed" as the edge display? This floating bar makes more sense because when you use it it doesn't cover and blur the whole screen like the stupid edge thing of Samsung.

The fingerprint and the 1 day battery will make me never ever buy that smartphone… I ll wait until I get at least 2 days battery and the fingerprint on the main screen. I m not in the hurry.
Amazing phone, best LG ever, but the camera has some points that draw me back:
It's a small pixel size 1.0um for the 16MP camera
It has no portrait mode like Apple iPhone 7 Plus, the best phone to do the trick with a real illusion quality
the OIS has only 3 axis to handle, unlike Sony or samsung wich are rocking respectively 5 axis and 4 axis
Selfies are only shot at 5MP with very small 1/5" sensor resulting a shitty results comparin to the price tag
Still amazing phone though, love it so much
The v30 is not the first phone lg has made with oled/P-OLED display…
Example: LG G flex/2
V30 design still looks like a 3 year old fusion of samsung S6 and some Huawei phone.
It will be an interesting comparison between this and the pixel xl 2.
LG V30 is king of music and camera and most of all a real MONSTER!!!

I can't get past the 1st 5 mins of his melodramatic voice. Sgt. Joe Friday was more excited at his job than this guy is. 1st Rule of thumb, If they don't sound even toned chances are you won't get a real and proper review. You'll get the wrongs of one's life instead… Next!!!
Is it possible to shoot/edit each videos with the phone ur reviewing? That way it gives a good perspective for the camera review. 🙂
Battery will be terrible. I love my v20 but the battery doesn't last long.

When I saw the camera comparison between the Galaxy S8 Plus and the V30, I couldn't believe the V30 had no noise… I was sold.
Was the top screen really controversial though 🙄
Must have removable Battery, Removable SD card AND 3.5 jack or I don't want to consider it.

They should make stock Android alternative firmware. OEM customization sucks.
