My Trip to Liberia – Part 2

A year ago I was contacted by a guy in Liberia who I thought was an internet scammer. After publishing a book together, I decided it was finally time to meet him! Donate to the cause and help us rebuild this war torn country!

  1. Loved the story. Very disappointed that the site isn’t being updated anymore. Would have loved to purchase the book.

I like the videos being made today, but wish you would occasionally still do videos like this.

  2. Its funny how it started as exposing scammers but you changed atleast helping poor communities even away from your continent God bless you im a Kenyan but im happy for your support for the less fortunate

  3. U have a heart of gold Mr. Ben, I prayed so much for u last night .I am praying for God to bless the work of my hands, so I can make a donation to the book as well. God bless u for being kind n loving. It is better to give than to receive,

  4. I know this happen a number of years ago but I just turned onto your channel about three weeks ago and been watching as much of you as possible. I pray for your journeys and everything you do every day God is so good and how he found you to help in the situation was truly amazing. My sister and brother have been down there on a mission trip in to help with water that was so inspiring to and when I see what you’re doing it just brings tears to my eyes.
I have has through a lot of ups and downs in my life healthwise and I’ve had cancer heart attack four surgeries yet I’m still able to help and give when I can. I just thank you Jesus. I don’t want to sound upset, but I’m almost jealous and I’m not believe me. I’m so happy for what’s going on sometimes I just wish God could use me in a special way. I’m getting older and it’s getting harder to do things I want to give and help and it’s tough sometimes.. but we can all do what we can do even if it’s just praying for you every day which I haven’t stopped since I saw your very first video. I like some of the other channels that deal with scamming too but some of them use language that I can’t even share with my kids but there’s a couple that I clearly care and you’re one of them. Thank you for keeping it clean. .
    In Christ
    Tim

  5. wait – so that highpitched sound was the notice for running out of gas?! The driver didn't have enough gas in the car to cover the trip (or a jerry can or something to carry a bit of fuel in?

  6. It is awesome when God comes through.
I went on two mission trips to Guatemala where we helped build churches. Our church also donated all the materials as well as food and school supplies among other things. And yes, we ate the food there. We also took prophylactic pills to ease our stomachs while eating in the villages.
Your video reminds me so much of my trips.
A few years before you went to Liberia, my pastor went to west point in Monrovia. He met with Joshua Blahyi, a former warlord who had a dramatic conversion. Now, he is a pastor. All "by d Grace of God"
