  1. I’m fiercely proud of Jake! By his demonstration of he courage to change, not only did his life improve, but so did his sweet pup’s, his boyfriend, and even his dad! Go Jake! You show he power of just one person, putting one foot in front of the other, and taking those baby steps to a better life! I sincerely wish you the best! 🥰

  2. I can't believe Betty's son took his mother in and she caused his children to be taken away from his home, plus she has an adult child living with a serious mental disorder surrounded by nnegativity. She needs life in prison because she ruined future lives.

  3. It is sad they think the garbage is valuable. And those grandkids will be mad when they will be responsible to get rid of all that junk AND the cost of getting rid of all of it. Just shows how delusional they think-

  4. Recently I’ve been ill, got depressed, also caring for my mom who is dying, and I’ve let all kinds of things slide. Too exhausted to pull myself out of it, though I still get some things done. Not going out shopping, but I could. I see the slippery slope of emotional pain that can lead these folks to hoard. They must be in excruciating distress to let their lives become so disastrous.

  5. I tried Googling “Hoarders Betty Marysville Ohio” and up popped court documents from 2018. The city hired Servpro to come in and clean both inside and out, as well as remove rotted building materials, at a cost of over $12k. They then billed that amount to her as well as citing both her and her husband for running a dump on their property. She took the city to court and lost. The meager proceeds from selling the house paid the bills. IDK what happened to Betty but there are also obituaries for her husband and daughter Trieste further down.

  6. I bet both Paul and Betty are sitting in the Slammer for not Cleaning up their Massive Messes and Clutters from their Hoard when they were given an Ultimatum several times and were Told over and over and over by the City and County they live in to get rid of their excessive stuff and Clean their Property by the Deadline

  7. God they torture their children . They make them feel responsible and guilty should they have ty o suffer by giving these things up. this is horrible. Like a heroin addict sometimes jail is the only thing that sinks in.

  8. Paul is one pathetic man. He never grew up and never realized that his hoarding was no ticket to a life of financial security or a legacy for his Grandkids.

  9. Betty's situation is very tragic and I believe she doesn't care for her husband. I would be shocked if either were still alive. The sister, Trieste, is her own tragic story being schizophrenic.

  10. I swear my brain nearly snapped in half when she said she’s not going to look at every expiration date cuz if it isnt puffy or whatever else it’s practically edible. Like….ma’am most dairy products last maybe an additional week after use by dates…not MONTHS 😖. And she can’t say she will use her mind if she let her fridge drawers become rotting science experiments!!!

  11. the girl that came to see the house to see if they could clean it up sounds mad as in the beginning but I mean I would be mad too if I worked hard to clean it up and then it got messy again but it honestly is not her fault its a disorder

  12. An unwilling hoarder/addict – needs a painful bottom – denying them that, denies an opportunity for submission to desperation. Pain/suffering is a requirement for humility thus, bares change

  13. I think Betty needs to be placed in a facility, against her will, so she stops RUINING everyone else’s lives!!! There’s a deeper issue here than hoarding – she’s a sociopath, no desertion between right and wrong and NO regard for how her actions affect others.
