Nexus 6P hands-on!

The Nexus 6P is the big daddy of the new bunch, with a 5.7-inch QHD display, a killer build quality and a rear fingerprint sensor that might well change the way you use your phone. And Google promises the camera’s really good this time. This is the bigger, and higher spec’d of the two new Nexus phones. It looks and feels familiar if you were using the Huawei Mate S, with a very aluminum feel. There is a fingerprint sensor in the middle of the back and has fantastic placement. This really is just a very large phone, and you can see that when looking at it next to the Nexus 6, or Nexus 5. The camera bump on the back might look huge, but it really isn’t that bad at all in person. It’s got a Quad HD display, along with Android 6.0 Marshmellow out of the box. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Google now on tap is now working, which is a nice addition as well. This is definitely full of features, which is why it also comes with the heftier price tag than it’s little brothers.

  1. Really hope I don't regret getting the graphite 6P, heard a lot about it possibly chipping/receiving scratches easily. The aluminum is already sold out.

  2. to be honest the only things new is the design and fingerprint scanners. they say the camera is great and all. but not enough for me to upgrade or even trade my Nexus 6 for that 6p. it doesn't have wireless Charging or OIS for imagery. and no 6 inch screen. I'm losing out on a lot compared to most people. I can't shrink. lol.
