Android Central Podcast Ep. 226: MWC Postmortum

We’re back from Mobile World Congress! So let’s talk more about Mobile World Congress! Specifically we’ll get takes on the Galaxy S6, HTC One M9, the HTC Vive virtual reality stuff, and tons more — from the guys back and home who weren’t bogged down in the mix. This should be a fun perspective!

  1. i always download the podcast, but thought i'd check out the video version! Nice to put faces to names and voice

Keep up the good work chaps!

  2. No microsd, no replaceable battery, no OIS on the camera, and no water resistance…. If I wanted an iPhone I would buy one. I have enjoyed Samsung Galaxy products for the very things they have removed. I was holding out for OIS but that didn't happen. It's a flagship device and should include the top of the line features. I really hope the next Note doesn't follow the example being set by the S6 or I'm done with Samsung for a long time.

  3. I love wireless charging. Haven't bought a phone without it since I had the nexus 4. The problem with putting a wireless charger in your car is if you want to use your phone ie navigation and streaming music then it can't keep up. It loses a lot of charge. Especially if the sun is out it adds even more heat (i live in Oregon, so it's not eve that warm here usually) and drops charging quickly and often. That said own 5 wireless chargers and even tried 2 for car. It's just too slow for car use.

  4. Prefer the s6's over the m9 but the theme engine on the HTC is much better, a colour change like windows 8 with different icons, Samsung's is just a cover on the top can't change anything in the theme I don't think.
