  1. So what is the point of these product announcements from HTC if they will be delayed releases or may even never come out in certain markets at all?

They made a huge song and dance about the desire 820 back at IFA last September yet it only came out in select asian markets. I had to import one in the end to the UK as it obviously is never getting released here. The thing is though is that for ~£250 it is a fantastic phone and had HTC released it in the us and the UK it may have took off. It's really a great phone and IMO, a nice looking phone than this 826 and the eye.

Then they announce this which is an amalgamation of the 820 and the Eye but give no details about a western release. Just a US based pre-register for info site. So needlessly vague.

There is no point me getting interested in this phone as I may never get to see or hold it.

What is the point of announcing these phones to certain territories if even HTC don't know which territories get which particular phones. Just seems a stupid way of doing business and ultimately confused the consumer into potentially going elsewhere.

  2. This was just a hint at the m9 which will be the same as this except a QHD display, 20mp rear camera, flash on the front camera, snapdragon 810, 3gb of ram, and the staple METAL body.

  3. sense 6 on lollipop lol. it looks great. i like this phone though, i think people who have had the m8 and m7 know that the ultra pixel cam did not work for getting nice high res shots in. we already have a low megapixel cam on the front of every device so why not bulk up the back cam and throw the ultra pixel cam on the front for selfies. eh ehhhh? also HTC actually found out how good dolby surround sounded when people ported it to work with the m7 and m8 with harman kardon, so they took boom sound and mixed it with dolby. I am actually proud of you htc. Good job for doing what should have been done on the m8.

  4. Great move from Htc. Using Htc proprietary ultra-pixel camera in the front where quality of photos is given greater value than the resolution. If Htc could pull of fitting a duo camera setup or an extra wide angle mode on the front of the device with next gen ultrapixel and latest Sony camera sensor on the back and improving the image processing to match the iPhone image processing capabilities and we may have the perfect smartphone camera in 2015 ( And as usual HTC makes great flagship phones).

  5. Last year one of the desire phones that was announced before the htc m8 had a 5 mp front facing camera. Next you know the m8 had it as well. My point, maybe that the "m9" will have a 4 ultra mega pixel front camera Instead of the rumored 13 front. I guess Will see!

  6. looks like its still running the same sense6 i guess will have to wait for the new flagship to see sense 7 on lollypop
