  1. wsup I have a 88 olds 98 Regency Brougham cluster lights don't come on when I turn on the park lights key off I checked the plugs that the cluster plugs into no power but when I turn on the key it has power I'm using a voltage meter

  2. Eric I need your help with my 92 Honda accord. I got a new alternator n when I press on break or gas it Stahl's? N I was wondering if the engine was missing a piece? Your my only hope.:(

  3. unfortunately most degreaser titled products have sodium hydroxide. Sodium hydroxide is the main component that soap is made with basically sodium hydroxide plus any fat= soap. thats another reason why the market came up with different degreaser for example chloronated ditilates. the aeromotive industry is full of aluminum and they have specific degreasers not made out of sodium hydroxide.

  4. oven cleaner eats aluminum because of the sodium hydroxide in the oven cleaner. i found that oven cleaner cleans plastic valve cover well though.

  5. I like these Q&As.Also it's really great watching your favorite youtubers grow. There are a couple other channels I watch(ed) for awhile and I've been watching ETCG probably since the old shop,I know though for a long time.I lucked out to get into all the cool automotive genres out on YouTube.

  6. hey eric i have a question, i have a 2003 ford excursion. the 4×4 wount lock automaticly i have to do it manual, how can i fix this? where shud i look? i will apriciate i you cud help me out

  7. hey eric @ 33:40 you said that you don't think it could be a fuse, well on my 2008 base model 3dr yaris, when i changed the radio, i've had the same problem: dash light for the high-beams and lights was not comming on, all it was was a burnt fuse.
keep up the good work eric, love your videos and learned a lot from them (sorry english is only my second spoken language)

  8. Ok I'm a clean freak and few of my older car projects have the normal oil/gresey gum up on the block and subframe. WHAT is this oven cleaner you used!? Sounds like some powerful stuff that I'd love to try (hint, "degreaser", does not remove grese well..). I tried oven cleaner but I take it you used some brand that was stronger?? Thanks Eric!

  9. hi Eric I love your channel you help me so much with so much so many projects on my car. Thank you! What would cause the rotors on my car to suddenly be out of balance or not perfectly straight?

  10. Hi Eric, I have a 97 Tacoma 2.4L auto trans, with 211k. Have a rough idle issue, I already tried a number of things now my last resort is to do replace the valve adjusting shims under the cams to put the valve lash back in spec. I have checked the clearances ad I just did the valve cover gasket this past week. But I've had a few different opinions telling me that it would be better just to get the head redone with that much mileage. Thoughts?

  11. Hi Eric. Sometimes my 2002 e class shifts weird and I found the error code saying the throttle body is bad. But when I turn off the car and start again, car shifts perfectly. What do you think is wrong here from your experience?

  12. Erick 97 Toyota Corolla Trans dies when it gets hot and doesn't go over 20mph. Once it cools you can get the car moving again but the engine never dies just the transmission. Do you think it's a bad sensor how do I go about tracking this problem. Btw no check engine codes.
