You can do the same thing on the outside of the window for rain if your wipers stop working. It helps keep the glass clear when driving .

I am intrigued that nobody tells that you are fixing the effect and not the cause. If your car is fogging up, it means you either have too much moisture inside ( Water on the footwell, bad glass rubber seals, leaking sunroof drains etc.) or a faulty heater core.
Fix those, and you won't have any problems with fog!
I tried the shaving cream on my mirror in my bathroom and it worked once. I will do a test of the toothpaste on my bathroom mirror before I do the entire windshield. Don't want it to work only once after all of that work. Hope it works better than the shaving cream.

I heard that motor oil works great on the windshield.

Not sure how it would work on car glass but dawn dish soap works great on snorkeling masks. Let me be clear on it though, it's not consistent. I would wash and rinse right before I put it on. As long as I wore it it was perfectly fog free no matter what. However if I took it off and put it back on the fog came back right away. That's why I don't know how it would work on automotive glass.

Is shaveing foam effective as shave cream?
I’ve tried this shaving foam I used Gillette, I started on my rear window then did the 2 rear side windows and by the time I’d finished my rear window was steamed up, how is this possible

I used shaving cream today on my glass as suggested in your last video and i should say it did not work at all. It was so difficult to see that i nearly had an accident. Please don't suggest rubbish methods that could risk someone's life

Use chewing tobacco to remove road goobers from the outside of the window. Pouch, brick or……. pre chewed all work.

I did try the toothpaste method on my car windscreen to over come the fogging during rainy day drives. Cuz these days my A/C not working. But the toothpaste method didn't work well.
