1998 Ford Contour Hood Cable Replacement, Fuel Smell Fix, Headlight Restoration -Fixing it Forward

Yea, that’s a long title, 1998 Ford Contour Hood Cable Replacement, Fuel Smell Fix, Headlight Restoration -Fixing it Forward, but it’s the next in the Ford Contour Fixing it Forward series. As the title states, we do quite a bit of work in this one. There are a few other minor fixes along the way as well.

The hood cable and the headlight restoration are pretty straightforward. The fuel smell is an interesting one. When Cameraman Brian and I went out on our last test drive we noticed that there was a distinct fuel smell inside the vehicle. Watch the video to find out what the fix was. You might be surprised.
