10. I don't have 3 ft. of distancing in my classroom, with 24 students in my room. More like 1 ft. in between each desk. We go back to 100% on April 5th. I am glad that most of my parents are smart enough to keep their children home for the rest of the year. I will be vaccinated by the time I enter the classroom, but the kids are not. These students will not interact in the same way that they used to. I won't be able to teach like I used to. The learning won't happen like it did before, without small group learning and hands-on activities. These are all things the health officials are saying that we shouldn't do. I will still be teaching online lessons with students in my classroom. I can't wait until this pandemic is over!! I have never hated teaching, but I am starting to.
