Evo 5’s New Setup Dominates the FIRM

I went out hoping to beat my last best time… man was I surprised! I know its a bit more of a lengthy in-car track video – I tried to leave my progress in rather than just showing the best laps! http://LZMFG.com

  1. some clean fast laps, u should try out some left foot braking, i feel it really lets you fine tune the balance of the car and turn some faster lap times

  2. I love these videos. Florida guy here. Iv been a dsm head since 2001. Still have my built 1g dsm drag car. I just Picked up a evo 2 gsr. These cars are special. Totally different beast then my dsm that feels like a gt car and handles like shit. I already threw on an exhaust and turned up the boost as high as the stock fuel can handle. The car has some r888rs, cusco sways and Taiwan special coil overs. Very good info on tire temp in your past videos as well. Looking forward to getting it sorted out and seeing what it can do on 205 width tires. Hopefully I will be getting some 16s and bigger tires, but the ce9a doesn’t take to well to wide tires. The 2650lb weight should help. Keep doing what you do man. Lots of evo 123456 guys in the USA. We do things differently than the rest of the world concerning set-ups and this info is very valuable.

  3. Hi adam, here is a Tip for car racing, push hard with you left foot when you’re hitting corners hard, it is gonna push your body backwards in the seat and your arms doesn’t need this amount of grip on the steering Wheel as we can see on the gopro footage and Also your body doesn’t move as we can see too on the corners, you will see a big big difference on your driving 😉 cheers from France 🇫🇷 keep up the good work

  4. No lift shift would help a quarter of a second and play more with tire preasure each run those tires more then likely build some pressure with fl temps and stickyness id say a dolid pound with 2 laps. Or look into a tire bleeder system
