17. I work in mental health care with homeless people and this is actually a HUGE problem. Most of them qualify for the payment, but have no way of accessing it. $1400 won't completely change their lives, but it'll pay for food and a bus pass, medications, a much-needed visit to the doctor, a new tent and blanket, a week at a hotel, some new shoes, etc. Just basic things that most of us take for granted and don't even think about. But many of them don't have IDs, don't have transportation, don't have bank accounts, and even having a centralized location where it could all be taken care of wouldn't work because they don't know how to get there. I've met so many people who think nothing of walking between locations that are an hour-long drive on the interstate for me, but if you don't have a phone with GPS (since maps basically don't exist anymore), you can't get there. So these outreach workers are saints. What wonderful, incredible people. I wish they could connect so that every city in every state could implement a program like what they're doing.

19. The government could have set up a easier system for the homeless to get the stimulus. They need it the most. I feel that President Biden doesn’t cover all the bases when it comes to anything. Why can’t we get a young sharp President.

24. This political disease and the real id act might make impoverished people enemies of the state. I read somewhere that I was eligible for a stimulus check, but so far zippo. My direct express card is back on the tangent that they won't know anything for at least a couple more weeks. This is twice I've heard this message in the last few weeks. So I can infer that somebody will be able to steal my check, with no consequences. Profits overrule humanity every time. Profits bless america, or something like that.

27. My greedy landlord just made sure I joined the homeless here in Texas. He admitted in court the reason he wanted me out was he wanted to raise the rent several hundred dollars. This guy claims to be a good christian. He has 9 rent properties and he has forced all his low income tenants out so he can jack the rent. He claims the properties are worth the added money, when he has deferred maintance on all of them for the past 14 yrs. I am not a happy camper right now with nowhere to go and less then $30 until my next Social Security check arrives, which happens to be after the date I am supposed to be out of here.

32. Thank goodness lyin'joe is taking good care of the foreign nationals pouring across our southern borders. I guess under this administration, American citizens are taken care bn of after all the immigrants are clothed, fed, housed & given money.
