  1. You meet the nicest people recycling at the recycling center. Had to stop going because they were so nice, I was afraid I might get stabbed and robbed.

  2. I don’t work on cars, but i process computers and make money on all the non ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, brass, etc)

  3. Having work at repair shops I know they can get money back for "cores", which get cleaned up, inspected, and then resold as remanufactured parts. Is there a way for home mechanics to do that too? It seems like I'd get more for it than scrapping it.

  4. For 43.20 that’s a lot of effort to save rusty metal all year and then lift it to your truck then drive with these gas prices. I’d rather throw that shit out always

  5. Boy was my estimate off, And I thought I was low balling it! I guessed just over $80 thinking $0.25 per lb of scrap was low!

  6. but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

1 Peter 3:15 KJV, Repent of your sins in the mighty name of the son of the most High, always remember he loves you no matter what you've been through he wants to see you happy & at peace, Repent & turn to him!.

  7. $43.20 after a year! Haha I get more than that breaking down as little as 2 maybe 3 old air conditioners. Shit I made $200 on old wire alone

  8. I always save wheel bearings and brake rotors for the scrapyard, but the car batteries go straight into the ocean

  9. scrap yard in my country dont have that car weight thing they just took your metal and weight it on a big fruit weight scale that they normally use in market and lots of time they are broken and dont show the right weight and you dont get money as much as you shuold so i dont usually go there that much

  10. I’m going to say for the batter is going to be
    14-16$
For raw metal your looking around 20-30
For precious metals copper aluminum as of what i see 8$ a good guess would be 47

  11. I'm just wondering how many people just change the rotors/drums when they do brakes because I don't think I've ever once replaced rotors or drums unless they were really badly damaged as even if the pads wear down to the metal you can still take them to a machine shop and get them turned,(If you're super worried about the groves in them that is). Seems like a lot of money to spend on periodic maintenance TBH as I know Rotors go for at least 100 bucks a pop
