You meet the nicest people recycling at the recycling center. Had to stop going because they were so nice, I was afraid I might get stabbed and robbed.
I don’t work on cars, but i process computers and make money on all the non ferrous metals (aluminum, copper, brass, etc)
Is it in NJ cuz I have a bunch of car parts to scrap.
I find i can get a couple bucks for the extra bolts leftover once im done
Having work at repair shops I know they can get money back for "cores", which get cleaned up, inspected, and then resold as remanufactured parts. Is there a way for home mechanics to do that too? It seems like I'd get more for it than scrapping it.
Wow he donated the money. What a guy bro. Chrisfix really is the best
👍
You sure are being a little entrepreneurial!
I'm having a rare 1950s tail light assembly restored!
One I take stuff to is called Ben Weitmans. Good Prices there for Scrap and Cans
This guy is amazing!
For 43.20 that’s a lot of effort to save rusty metal all year and then lift it to your truck then drive with these gas prices. I’d rather throw that shit out always
$43 not bad. Here in Canada your lucky to get $10 for all that
I thought you were gonna make a lot more money with those chunky metal scraps. Let’s say I was off by a digit
Thanks Chris helping this world a better place to live
Boy was my estimate off, And I thought I was low balling it! I guessed just over $80 thinking $0.25 per lb of scrap was low!
Welcome to 2022 and beyond! Now you can't even afford to drive anything!
Another reason I adore Chris!
but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
1 Peter 3:15 KJV, Repent of your sins in the mighty name of the son of the most High, always remember he loves you no matter what you've been through he wants to see you happy & at peace, Repent & turn to him!.
when you watch to get tips and just find out it's just a super wholesome video <3
Where did you get your fender flares?
God damn it, I just threw a water pump in the recycling bin.
211111
Great videos , and really lover your mazda truck , I have a 2005 mazda truck in UK!
Do UK Scrapyards offer money for old car parts as well? TIA
man… chris is the best guy
I never thought about that. I'll look for some free metal car scrap on fb marketplace
i emnard $10000000.00
You damn well know that guy at the scrap yard pocketed that money😂
Wow nice guy
Chris I Love You Soo Much ❤️ everyday watching your vidoes again and again and again…!! ❤️💞💓
Unfortunately I live in the middle of nowhere and I'm not sure I have a scrapyard nearby
Take the old parts back to the auto parts store for your core deposit!
$43.20 after a year! Haha I get more than that breaking down as little as 2 maybe 3 old air conditioners. Shit I made $200 on old wire alone
It's always the rainy days when I go to a scrapyard.
I guess life has made me cynical. I'm guessing 40.00 went into that guys pocket, and 3.00 to the charity!
I also use my scrap to practice welding.
I always save wheel bearings and brake rotors for the scrapyard, but the car batteries go straight into the ocean
أحسنت
I guessed 50 bucks. Piles of garbage kept in the garage, trip to the scrapyard, plus nail in the tire, no thanks.
scrap yard in my country dont have that car weight thing they just took your metal and weight it on a big fruit weight scale that they normally use in market and lots of time they are broken and dont show the right weight and you dont get money as much as you shuold so i dont usually go there that much
Thanks for reminding us that one man's junk is another man's treasure!
lets face it i would come back with more stuff than what i left
Man it would take me three years to come up with the same amount of metal 😭
Pop it 🤠🤠🤠🤠
I’m going to say for the batter is going to be
14-16$
For raw metal your looking around 20-30
For precious metals copper aluminum as of what i see 8$ a good guess would be 47
80$ is my guess
Your a good man Chris and very talented at that , god made a good one when he made you, great videos 👍
I'm just wondering how many people just change the rotors/drums when they do brakes because I don't think I've ever once replaced rotors or drums unless they were really badly damaged as even if the pads wear down to the metal you can still take them to a machine shop and get them turned,(If you're super worried about the groves in them that is). Seems like a lot of money to spend on periodic maintenance TBH as I know Rotors go for at least 100 bucks a pop
So… Is that wheel bearing still in the garbage? Lol
