1998 Chrysler Town & Country Transmission/Radiator Replacement (Part 4) -Fixing it Forward

Here is the final installment of the transmission/radiator replacement on the 1998 Chrysler Town & Country. This is the longest video of the series so be ready to settle in for a long ride. It’s worth the wait as we finally get this van back on the road. Backing up too!

This is a BIG video, over 2.5 hours in length total. It will be released in 4 parts. There will be a full version available to Premium Members of EricTheCarGuy.com at the time Part 4 is released. Here’s a link to that. (if link is not visible, it is not available at this time.)

  1. Eric, really enjoyed this series, as well as all your videos. Do you have a link, where someone can donate ? I see this series had a, go fund me. But it’s not clickable, as I assume cause it’s 5 years old. But I’m wondering if you have a link that’s for more of a steady donation?

  2. Hi eric. I have aproblem with my chraysler 1998 .when I'm driving .the lamp for send car soon serves cam .and geer move from 4 to secand and refuse to change.I shoud stop the car.remove Negative from the Battery for som time .and then install it .and when I draive again for som time It"s come againe . Please Ineed your advice .sorry for my weak english .

  3. When you put your transmission lines on the transmission, there is two tubes, is it important which one goes where? i'm just curious.

  4. Hi Eric, how to re-install the crankshaft position sensor. I read that new one has paper spacer but using the old one.How many millimeter is the gap? Can I push it down all the way and pull a bit to gap? Thanks Eric.Hi viewers can you please contribute too? Thanks.

  5. Necro-commenting to state that the bolt(@11:55 or so), in fact, goes the other way. The whole reason the steering stop had to be removed was to pull the bolt out that direction 😀

  6. The battery terminal screws are a 10mm. That's what was in every Chrysler van I ever owned.
