My God some people just want everything at a cheap price. The ads are there to bring the price down. You pay more you get no ads, even at that price Amazon is losing money. The guy below crying about the ads is ignorant.
Would be nice to see some actual video, and game performance. Does it play various video formats or just Amazon video? Can you side load other apps?
Gimped OS. Gimped app store. Gimped tablet. Pay to remove ads? Uh no. I'll just buy a Nexus instead.

Since Amazon abandons their Kindle Fire line in less than one year I'll be steering clear of them permanently. Nice review though.

I'm tired of all the tablet camera haters… I use mine to take pictures in my notes app, random outside pictures and anything that I will want on my iPad pretty much… Not to mention, they're the best invention for old people picture taking.
