Day 1 of drag week started off strong at Virginia Motorsports Park! A 4runner popped a wheelie, a Tesla is competing for the first time ever and may just break the Tesla 1/4 mile world record, people running their personal bests, Real Street not only brought their monster MK4 Supra to compete.. they brought their brand new MK5 that they just put a big turbo on AND SO MUCH MORE is going down! Unfortunately there were two long rain delays that caused everyone being able make one pass and one pass ONLY! That’s right, one pass per car. Very excited to see more racing this week as well as seeing who can stay in this thing until the end!

I mean I get it when someone says "you haven't even driven it, it is a new supra not the old" BUT stil, the Toyota SUPRA MK4 is a real japanese battle super car!! The new Model the MK5, no man, I mean i get it partnering up with some other company to build a "street-racecar" BUT the supra has always been an icon for japanese engineering!!!!!!!
now it litteraly is a BMW Z4 Chassis with a updated shorter Supra Frame and the dumbest desicion of all: a german BMW Engine, toyota did nearly nothing to the engine, it is a german engine! And even thought I am from germany and know german cars and engines are good, it is not a engine to success the legendary SUPRA MK4 2JZ-GTE Engine……… german engines just dont have that much emotions as compared to jepanese and even korean engines… it is just sad to make the mk4-successor a german engine… just sad…

Can someone tell me what that rhythmic, almost purging or blow off valve sound is from on the 4Runner all the way down the track? I noticed in a couple videos it makes the same sound all the way down, almost like releasing boost pressure or something. Just curious what it is, thanks.
Tesla's SUCK- why waste so much time talking to him? So what, it's a stock off the shelf POS with a full interior stripped out. There is nothing special or impressive about that what so ever.
