  1. comparing it to a go pro hero 3+ it looked a little bit softer, but tbh i would never use 4k on this device unless i have a 64GB sd card

  2. It's only after watching other examples of the Note 3 video where they use a tripod that you realise how crap of a demo it is when the camera is waving about all over the place.,

  4. Can you please provide a download link to the original file off the phone? its hard to know what compression artifacts I should attribute to YouTube, the editing SW used or the phone itself. I'm particularly worried about the smearing in the dark areas like dark treas, if you cannot share the whole clip, please try to share full size frames from the original video. preferably without too much motion, and with dark trees with bright background so I can check it in the original file.
    THANKS!

  5. I have a note 3. Downscaling 4k video to 1080p using handbrake produces stunning 1080p footage as good as a dslr, 0 noise!. Much better the recording in 1080p mode.

  6. lol thanks for your advice…
i will try getting a better one in future ….
for now i am happy with what i have, even if it does not give what others have….
    peace

  7. yup…the only way one can truly test the quality of this video is to watch it on a 4k tv, which I doubt anyone has.. other than that, it will look the same past 1080P on any 1080p monitor.
