They found a match, specifically genetic genealogist CeCe Moore did. Dripps was arrested on May 15, 2019 and pleaded guilty to Angie’s rape and murder on February 9, 2021, and took a plea deal, he will be sentenced on April 27, 2021.

This is just one of the reasons we hate the police!!!! He said was there new evidence that exonerated chris,. Adimit you all Fu@#$$ up and incarcerated an innocent teenager. I mean its either the new prosecutor obviously knows the guy is innocent and dont give 2 shits about destroying an innocent person's life, or the prosecutor is obviously to stupid to be in control of other people's lives and must have a dad or granddad on the force assuring his job title

I’m following this. It’s like reading a book. It’s YouTube and as I’m watching, listening, sympathizing… this case might be solved but I don’t know that so I follow and live the case as far as it will take me, US. Yeah, this crap ABC pulls is BS. I found some good coverage on East Idaho news. They show the dude who did do it they had masks on, so very recent. I think* his sentencing or some hearing is in April this year.
If he's a killer in the eyes of the community then he is not a free man. The judicial system is never wrong even when it is absolutely wrong.

Carol Dodge is an amazing human being! My heart absolutely breaks for her. How heartbreakingly sad this case is and that the police coerced an innocent man to confess. How incredible for Carol to do her own amazing detective work and to stand up for the innocent man that was convicted!

Update: They found Angie’s murderer/rapist last year, his name is Brian and he lived across the street from her. They arrested him 23 years later after updated DNA testing from the saliva on a cigarette. They brought him in for questioning and he confessed about 5 hours later. I hope he rots in prison for the rest of his life.
Thank goodness they found her real killer. Now her mom can hopefully find peace.
