  1. Ummmm nobody wants to work as long as the goverment keeps giving away free money. Shut all goverment benefits off and these job openings will be filled. Our goverment is counter productive.

  2. Absolutely. People won't work because unemployment pays you more. Why actually work when I can stay home, get paid the same, and do what I want?

  3. This such BS! Notice this restaurant owner wearing a blue lives matter mask. I don’t think he treats or pays workers well or doesn’t want to cut into his profits. Raise the prices. Pay people well. I think there’s educated people looking for remote jobs and trying to do better for themselves. It’s revealing how ridiculous the pay is for the service industry. And why start working there if there is a possible shut down again which surges and vaccine deniers refusing to follow CDC guidelines or get vaccines. 🙄

  4. …because Leftists insist on paying people to not work. And keep their knees on our necks.
The fact is that China Virus has killed the vast majority of those who were susceptible.
Which means the 99+% of us who are still around aren't going to suffer serious problems if we get it.
So Leftists are keeping their knee on our necks to "protect" us from the flu.

"Illegal aliens don't carry China Virus. They don't even get it, not at all. Something about the water in the Rio Grande…
So putting them in buses and dumping them in communities across the country isn't the mother of all super-spreader events."
    – President Joe "you ain't Pasteur" Biden

  5. I used the pandemic to change careers…who wants to go back to the same terrible job where you can’t even pay your bills

  6. Businesses, well if you pay people living wages, you would attract more applicants. It's simple really.

  7. Realize that these places are hiring part-time minimum wage and are saying things like they can promise you'll work at least five hours a week.

  8. JOBS…So why would / should anyone Leave Unemployment for Part Time at your Floral Shop to make less Money per Week ? Why cant you have some FULLTIME POSITIONS ?

  9. I call bs on walmart moving 2/3 employees to full time. The walmart I work at is understaffed af, cutting peoples hours, and claim they don't have anymore hours to give. I hope to gtfo out of retail soon.

  10. Americans think they are too good for entry level jobs … but the millions of illegals crossing the border don't. When all that "free" unemployment runs out, these jobs will no longer be available. They will have been taken by an immigrant who wants to work.
A lot of young American Democrats are gonna be wishing they hadn't been so stubborn and lazy.

  11. OMG !!! … Did NBC just report REAL news ? Good for you NBC. Too bad half your audience is too stupid to get the point of this video but, good for you for trying.

  12. EDD is screwing people over, randomly, and without notice, “Pending” people’s payments. Search Twitter. Someone needs to investigate or start a class action lawsuit against EDD because people are suffering and not getting answers. My benefits were not supposed to end until 2/2022, I’ve been applying for jobs since January and haven’t gotten an offer. I’ve worked my entire life, and this is what I get from our government. If EDD is not going to pay me and I can’t find a job that covers my bills, then I’ll have to file bankruptcy. Company’s need to pay people at least enough to cover the basic necessities: housing, utilities, food, gas, insurance…. In CA that’s more than $15 an hour. In CA it’s mandatory you look for work. I can’t believe other states don’t make it mandatory.

  13. People will be kicking themselves in few weeks if they miss the opportunity to buy and invest in Bitcoin as it's retracing….BE WISE

  14. Some of us fought to get this done but not so others can live off it. We stated that Republicans were wrong in thinking we wont go back. Now some make us look like idiots for stating to them anything. Take your job back if you have one, stop playing games. If you don't like that one apply for another. Simple.

  15. Pay more, and people will work simple. Otherwise, STFU stop whining & do it yourself. It's your business, run it & stop being lazy!

  16. Here's the problem with me. I apply at these places online and never hear back. I go in person, they refuse to see me. I have friends and neighbors working trying to find me a job, they all require a bachelor's degree and pay minimum wage. Yeah, really makes sense doesn't it? How does part-time proofreading require a bachelor's? This economy is a joke. There are no jobs, and if there are, people are too lazy to work because of the government cheese. Welcome to the welfare state, have fun!
