2. That priest doesn't understand the heart and spirit of the Bible. Matthew 7:1 is actually a precursor given to us by Jesus on how to  judge correctly. He is telling us to judge  but to do it in a particular manner, and warning us of self-righteousness and hypocrisy. If we're going to correct someone then we must expect to be held to the same standard. The Bible has many examples of judicial necessity. We ARE to judge a person's behavior, to warn him of the dangers to his immortal soul, and when called for, to see justice satisfied.
