  1. This young kid kid fixed that extremely damaged car. And he did a great job. TALK IS CHEAP. anybody can sit back and criticize but it’s a hole other ball game when you can back up all that talk with real actions. Actions are respected in my my book. Not CHEAP TALK.

  2. AutoCheck (Run by Equifax) vs CarFax.
I used AutoCheck once in my life and I also ran a Carfax report on the same car at Carmax.
AutoCheck said car was fine, fleet car no problems, had gaps in service visits, scored 86 which means nothing without frame of reference for model of car.
CarFax listed Front end damage not a collision, Reported Stolen/recovery was listed as fleet car, it was used as a service car at the dealership for 8 Months then sold by dealership.
You seriously get what you pay for, FYI CaRMAX uses AutoCheck also.
My advice check the VIN in CARfax.

  3. I have now watched at least 20 of your videos and have to say I absolutely love you. You are human. You admit mistakes and learn from them. We should all be so human. Thank you for all the work you do to publish and broadcast them.

  4. HEY Samcrac,
when that kid was pulling that frame, he needed a couple "anchor poles" [that's what i call them]. they would extend from that bucket ,near where the pull chain is anchored, over to the left /right or,top/ bottom, of the area being pulled. to areas you don't want to move. this also prevents bending something you do not want bent,by anchoring the car itself ,someplace else. only work the area needing help. imagine using a big arbor press for only that part.

  5. This is the worst body work I've ever seen. A pro would make this look new in two days. cut out the bad, wield in some good, pull that door frame, new door and fender and you're done

  6. Kudos to you, Samcrac. I am not a car guy but I am a fan and follow you frequently. You objective assesents and common sense advice should be a valuable tool for anyone in your field. Keep up the good workvice

  7. "Tell me more about Jay-Z, is that the same gray anthracite that I could ordered my Renegade with Sirius XM?! Are you scratching me?!! Ever heard of scammers?!" 🗨🤣🐚🐡💻🍃♨️💸📟🔇💉📐🌀⌚🔖💫

  8. Mr glass elevator is young and naive sometimes you have to cut your losses or change your strategy it’s a good learning curve for him

  9. As soon as I saw the damage extended past the radiator support, I knew that car was toast! I've already done that repair. I agree with sam, strip it and ship it off. Lots of good parts still. The dash would sell like hot cakes.

  10. Samcrac, why are you showing videos of that kid that he did not produce? the car "fixed" with this horrible paint and alignement are not from his car, he is doing everything on his own, and not cutting corners, doing it right! I don't understand what you are doing here…

  11. Hi Sam. I enjoy watching your videos with your repair content.
I have had some issues when it comes to you commenting on the videos of others, that being said, this one is better than the others. You are less critical on the other persons submission and more informative on what to stay away from. A little better editing and we wouldn't even care who's video you are using to make your point. Keep in mind that glass elevator is a person(and a young one at that). He may not have the experience you do. Let's not make him feel worse than he already does.

  12. The guy was so clueless. It’s amazing that someone thought his repair was acceptable. Unreal.
