Police body cameras show the moments after a gunman opened fire at New York’s Cathedral of St. John the Divine. Police said Luis Vasquez, 52, started shooting on Dec. 13 into a panicked crowd.

  9. He probably wanted to die at church, but knew inside it could ricochet at kill more people. This way he gets shot , doesn’t commit suicide, is near church and didn’t kill anyone else. But I am just guessing. I am glad nobody else was killed and police were nearby.

These Officers having to kill a man who shot into the air because he "Had Had Enough"… NOT a Humane OR Productive way of Keeping The Peace or Healthy for our Peacekeepers Mental state… If Policing was done with instant response of Community these officers would NOT have shot because he would NOT drop His Weapon!! He would be alive today and the officers would not have had to take a Human Life!! "DEFUND THE POLICE" is a Misnomer of the Actual need of True Law Reform… for all our sakes!

  26. Seems like the gunman had a death wish and wanted to be killed by police. I'm sure the gun control crowd will somehow try to squeeze a few miles out of this video. Notice how the reporter just had to tell us how many shots the police fired.

  27. Now this is the appropriate reaction to something potentially bad happening. I bet this person was never going to hurt anyone and just wanted to freak some people out and now he is dead.
