The Go2 socket is a 3/8″ drive universal socket adapter. It can handle all kinds of fasteners, even badly rusted ones. In this review I put it through it’s paces to see what it’s limits are. Surprisingly, it did quite well with everything I put it though. The one limitation I found with the tool was the possibility of not being able to use it in some applications, or that it might sometimes be difficult to use because of it’s design. For a ‘universal’ tool I thought it did pretty good. It’s affordably priced so you might want to check one out for yourself to see if it can work for you.

  1. It's a nifty little contraption. The only caveat is when you have a tight squeeze. To fit the Go2 Socket into like a tight oil drain pan space for the oil drain plug. There's other scenarios too.

  2. worst tool ever! I bought one of these after watching this video to try to remove a stuck, stripped, oil drain plug. I tightened the little screw with a grip wrench – still, it slides around and falls off. Then we ended up getting it off with a Irwin bolt grip set. I wanted to return this stupid tool, but the company never answers the phone and then says you can return it but pay a shipping and restocking fee that is more than the cost of the tool.
