  1. So I've got an 03 f150 4.2 v6 with spark knock. Ive replaced plugs & wires, flushed fuel tank and changed filters, fresh gas and still knocking under load. EGR valve??? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  2. Here is my advise – if you think you need to flush your heater core – you probably also need to flush your entire cooling system, including radiator, heater core and all the other components of the cooling system. It makes 0 sense to me to just flush the heater core only for it to fill up with almost degraded antifreeze…
also – when he added fresh 50/50 antifreeze only to the heater core I just 🤦‍♂️ at the idiotic senseless move…. just my 5 cents

  3. Chris I thought you might be intetested in this. I purcjased a 97 Silverado with a seized motor and a group of us got together and put in a salvage yard engine. Winter came and no cab heat. This time it was to cold to work in an unheated garage. So i took it to a repair shop. The repair man said after checking hose temps goodflow, good fan but it is pushing out a diminished air flow. Leave it here I `ll check thing out. Several days later he called it"s done. In Southern Colorado we have dust storms the heat exchanger was packed with mud. Washed it out and now it heats well. So there is something else if your in an area where there are dust storms to consider. I have another tale to tell your viewers check out your engine coolant flush video.

  4. Крч, не знаю что ты там бормочешь. Но Вся эта процедура к коту под хвост. Коль уж в печке навоз такой, знач и по всей системе он есть. Мыть, так все мыть.

  5. Of all the similar channels here on YouTube , I only watch Chris Fix because you are the king of automotive DIY channels as Johnny Carson was the king of late night channels. Thank you.

  6. Seems like a real good way to cause a heater core to leak that never leaked…….
I'd recommend marking those hoses before you take them off and marking where the clamps go because all those different contact surfaces have a memory and you're gonna end up with weeps and leaks unless you put them all back the same way it would been better off to take a razor blade and cut the hoses at the inlet and outlets and replace the hoses to avoid all that stress and strain on a heater core that you have no idea how durable it's gonna be.

  7. If your heater in a car does not work it is for 9 out of 10 times a faulty thermostat. If your cooler stops and your engine is not defective, you use the wrong coolant with 100% confidence

  8. Little word to the wise try to be more gentle worth of removing the hoses from the heater core remember that’s an old piece of equipment there and you could break that heater core you might get the proper tools to stick in between the hose in the wall called the nipple on the heater core and work it around because sometimes those hoses break down into the or bake onto the nipple and that you can break it you got to be real careful guy but other than that nice job I really appreciate what you did you’re a good man bye oh by the way I appreciate how you were wanting to be careful with our pesky little fury friends for a little friends ha ha ha ha yeahI know

  9. wow that coolant looks like its never been changed! I would be more concerned how the inside of the engine looks rather than the heater core!
