Moto X hands-on

Phil takes a look at the latest device from Motorola, the Moto X. It feels great in your hand, and is rocking a 4.7-Inch AMOLED display. 70% of the front of the phone is display, but the phone retains a great feel in your hand. This is a customizable phone, with your choice of different backs. You’ll find your USB on the bottom, and headphone jack on the top, with both power and volume located on the right. There is a 10 Megapixel camera on the back just above a dimple which has the Motorola branding on it. To fully customize your phone, you’ll want to head to Moto Maker where you can decide on the color of the phone, the backs, and even the internal storage size. There are even Sol headphones and earbuds in matching colors. By using your voice, you can use Google Now to search, although it will require some training. Running Android 4.2.2 the software is fairly cut and dry, with the addition of some fine control over how your notifications work using active notifications. The Moto X is coming to all carriers in the United States.

  1. Funny. Just a couple of months ago, android fanboys are all about specs and numbers. But now, they seem to be ok with dual core for a flagship phone, hahahaha.

  2. Because more megapixels alone doesn't equate to a better quality camera. 1080p is only 3 megapixels. Even 4K video is only 8.3 megapixels. The silly MP numbers race is just marketing BS
I can't believe people still don't get it in this age of free information and wikipedia… -.-

  3. whats the point of customizing when it serves no protection of the phone. Majority of us use a cover to protect the phone from accidents. They better provide a good insurance on these phones…lol
