V8 Vantage Pt 13 – Final Assembly Day

In this episode it’s time for the final assembly of the AM V8V. We mount some flush hood latches by aerocatch, we fabricate new headlight brackets and mount them up, and then start to button up the whole car and take it for its first test drive!

  1. It's like the reverse of Roadkill. Fix the exterior and hope the internals are o.k.

Makes sense with a modern vehicle over a classic.

  2. Awsome set of videos.
I have a V8 Vantage and it was great to see how they are put together and how you have reconstructed the front end.

  3. Those corporate tire shops are so fucking annoying. All I wanted was some cheap ass tires mounted but because I had blue wheels they wouldnt mount them lol.

  4. It is such a bummer that you‘re always in such a rush now. Pressured by YouTube. I liked your channel more when you took your time to build things the way you were absolutely happy with it without having to make compromises all the way. Don’t get me wrong, I‘m glad you take all the effort to maintain this channel (the new stuff, too of course) but maybe you can think about what I mentioned. By the way, you look like Aaron Gwin and Mike Finnegan at the same time 😀

  5. Hey Chris just a suggestion for long term use, you might want to create a sort of tray later on to go in-between the supporting rod and the headlight because in case of impact in the front lower area the rod might end up punching a hole through the headlight from underneath. Just a thought. Great work man, it looks awesome!

  6. So disappointed with this build…boring ass silver paint, wack ass wing, and lastly some ricer looking wheels. Overall, just doesn't fit the car in my opinion.

  7. I think it would be pretty bad ass to take some scotch brite and scuff the body in long straight lines to make it look like stainless steel. There are videos on how to do it.

  8. Dude it really came together rather nicely. It looks sick, definitely a unique looks! I am sure when in not such a rush you can have a look at neatening up all the little things. The windshield definitely needs replacing and those intakes would be great down in the bumper.

  9. Easily the hardest working automotive YouTuber! Always a pleasure watching your episodes Chris! Really great to see the Aston come together.

  10. corporations don't understand the inapplicability of law to you because their lawyers don't understand either, so I agree, support local small business and put the corporations out of business before they take it all over with their progressive communistic democratic ways.
