  1. you know what i want them to make a smartphone case wireless charger that way my phone could charge whenever i turn the case on and fits perfectly in the pocket as well

  2. So he wants batteries to get smaller and for us to keep charging continuously as we move from one place to another. Won't that damage our batteries as phone manufacturers also don't recommend taking off the phone from charging till it reaches 100%. Hmmm.. IIRC, "WIRELESS CHARGERS" still need to be supplied power from say a wall socket. So how is that wireless because if the power goes out (worst case scenario), how would the phones still charge wirelessly? Lol

I love the fact that Qi is gathering momentum, and I bought a Qi charging pad just to test it out on my Note 4. Imagine my surprise when I powered on the Qi charging pad and then proceeded to use the Note 4 in my room. I thought it'd be charging wirelessly but turns out you need to place it on the Pad, lmao. Basically wireless wired charging?

I'm gonna stick with my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and LG G4 in the meantime which have replaceable batteries and a micro SD card slot for expandability. And use my 16000mAh xiaomi power bank.

  3. But… But… If I have to leave my device on the table or charger charging… I can't really text or use my phone as I normally do… So… Isn't that changing my habits of how I would use my device to just let it charge? :S With a power bank or a charging cable, I can continue to use it comfortably as usual…. Just with a little cable attached to it….

  4. If something huge not come in battery industry to have long lasting accu (ex for couple years of usage – btw there was a topic with some fuel and a little dangerous to carry near body because of risk of explosion 😉 ) then wireless charging battery which will last one day heavy usage would be a box office hit the likes of "Avatar" and company like this one will be well-known around the world. Hope to see it in a few years.

  5. where all the power will come from? a few days ago many states signed a contract that requires them to reduce their co2 emissions. and our energyneeds will increase with all the devices that we have, not just phones, but also electric cars and such.

  6. I feel sorry for Nexus 6p and 5x owners… Watching this gets me kinda mad at Google. It's a shame Nexus owners who invested in wireless charging throughout the years are now left out in the cold..

I'd love to see wireless charging pockets..
