  1. Monitary Reparations are a snare .Every needed resource should be made available.Exempt of taxes Hardware refineries automobiles factories Homesteads .factories that will produce every needed thing known by GOD from GOD to All freely without price. Where there is no money poverty will not enter . For GOD IS A MORAL GOD , ANDCANNOT BE BOUGHT, BRIBED, NOR SOLD , NOR CAN DARKNESS CREEP IN FOR GOD IS LIGHT .

  2. I need to make sure I understood this article: Was the reparations bill in Evanston voted upon by the people? A referendum? Or did the city council impose this? My apologies but I didn't catch the distinction. If people of Evanston voted for this (even by margin) then the rest of us should stay out of it. They chose… but is that what happened? Please someone comment?

  3. Only when humanity understands it's true worth and potential is when it will achieve greatness as a whole. But right now Humanity has a very long road to this point. To the point were we understand that fighting ourselves will not allow us to achieve greatness for all mankind only then will we truly understand ourselves

  4. wither your black or white wither your Asian or Hindu (and any I missed) Ask your self this question = Question 1 =when you wake up in the morning and look in the mirror what do you see do you see a race or a color or = Question 2 =or do you see a human being with the potential to change your life and the lives of the people around you, maybe even the world one day. Now if you choose the 1st question then you are doomed from the start, But if you choose the 2nd question then you understand and know the power you have over your own future. Your past is from your birth to your present, any thing else is just noise. For example if you believe you were a slave over 75 years ago then you will always believe you are a slave, But if you believe in the endless possibilities of your future then you are on the path of greatness. I understand the need in knowing your ancestral past But it does not change who you are now, you have the power to create or destroy IT IS YOUR CHOICE

  5. Human being can choose to live in the past our they can choose to live in the present. Each one of us has an opportunity in today's world to change our own lives change our own path. The only question is witch path will you choose. our existence is no longer tied to our past or our future and we all have a chance to make our own lives better if we so choose

  6. When will I receive my check?! I want reparations for my forefathers freeing the slaves in the civil war and all the usa wars fought in since the 1700's.

  7. If your great grandfather, who you never met, committed a murder, should you go to jail for his crime?

  8. Reparations were paid in full by the 110,000 white Union soldiers that paid the ultimate price in the war to free the slaves. The ingrates that are free today and demanding money are a disgrace.

  9. Reparations are a LEGAL issue, not a MORAL issue, according to the courts. In order for reparations to be legally justified, the atrocity back then (slavery), that is calling for reparations today, must have been illegal at the time that it occurred… but slavery wasn't illegal at the time that it occurred. Courts can't, don't, and won't adjudicate moral claims, only legal ones, and this might make it all the way to the Supreme Court, only to be shot down, when people decide to sue their states. Yes, it was a heinous MORAL injustice, but by law at the time that it was taking place, slavery was not LEGALLY unjust. There's a difference. Proven descendants of proven slaves, after 1865, would be the only people entitled to reparations.

  10. The hell of some people’s past can’t be erased with cash!
The windshield in your vehicle is much larger than the rear view mirror because looking ahead is more important than looking back. Seems that we’re looking back and destroying some history but pulling some history into today’s victim culture. Being a victim can’t be forgotten by cash. Cash from our grandchildren won’t fix this but It can destroy all of our futures. Some things need to be brought forward from history.
Love thy neighbor and stop looking at a persons color vs their character!

  11. I have no issue with this. Let’s track the families that were directly responsible for slavery, let’s track the decision makers and they can pay. Whilst you are at it let’s find all of those drug gangs and dealers pushing death on the streets and let’s also get them to pay reparations to all of the families they have destroyed in their communities for decades. America as long as you can pay without taxing the working man more then go ahead otherwise whats point as the money has to come from somewhere other than the tax payer.

  12. Sure hope they don't ask me to pay with my taxes. I and my ancestors have nothing to do with slavery. We are not from the this country. If you ask me, the ones that should pay for any reparations are leaders of the African countries who sold there own people to the white man.

  13. i support is as long as its not direct payment cuz most are gonna blow the money. They need to get better schools, college funding, free rehab, financial education.
